Please note the reduction part of the surgery was covered however my doctor did liposuction so that I would not have a pocket of extra skin between my armpit and breast.

Right after my surgery I would spend most of my days in bed - on the computer - on YouTube watching reduction stories. Not one story had any bumps along the road like mine , so for any woman out there who goes through with this surgery and has some problems here and there just know you aren’t the only one and feel free to ask any questions.

I am six weeks post op from BR and it’s been such a long six weeks I ended up with MRSA so my healing has been delayed my right side is almost fully healed by my right side has a couple more weeks. My scars are raised and kind of sore still

I’m sorry to hear that ....
The first week or two after my surgery I remember watching YouTube videos of all these girls , who were post op and they had no issues and then you look at yourself and your one of those girls that have some type of complication . I know how your feeling but don’t worry , take it one day at a time, you’ll be ok at the end of this :) !

I am 7 months post op. I have had a very painful recovery. I have been in pain from day one. The scars are still reddish pink.and still having Zingers. I was at my PS on April 26. and she said sometimes it takes up to a year to heal. No infection. Just kind of like suck it up. Try a different bra. I have a drawer full.

I know everything I read was like 3-5 days later people were fine and I was like whatttttt how? I’m definitely feeling better! When did you feel ok to sleep on your stomach again

It took at least a month for me to be able to sleep on my side and I still wasn’t 100% comfortable... stomach I don’t even remember to be honest

Hi , go see your surgeon and he/ she will let you know if you are covered by Medicare
