Great Experience

Recovery has been very easy. I Thought this picture would be good to add just for visuals. Obviously this summer dress is tight on top but it helps to see the difference. The picture on left was the evening before the surgery to remove the 350 cc high profile silicone implants . I always had to wear the thinnest bras with nipple cover inserts. So this amount of cleavage was with a very thin bra. This was just too much boob for me. The size of these implants made my nipples pop out constantly to what felt like an abnormal uncomfortable degree. The size for my body comfort zone felt cumbersome and looked in my own opinion too augmented. On the right I’m wearing a t shirt bra light coverage, no nipple covers needed. Pic on right is 190 cc low profile plus at around 6 weeks after surgery. What I like about these smaller implants is if I want them to look bigger I can wear a push up bra but in general I prefer a daintier , smaller size. I like the option depending on what I’m wearing and what look I’m going for. I feel more natural, more myself and more in control aesthetically. The larger implants overtook my breast tissue whereas these smaller implants are friendlier and less obtrusive allowing more of me to surface and the effect is they are very soft and feel very real. I am doing red light therapy on them hoping it helps my skin to firm up against the implants more. I sleep and exercise with sports bras that offer more support because I’m not used to feeling them flopping around as much , I like the compression and I want to give my skin and the capsule as much help as possible. Recovery has been very easy and I’m amazed how great it feels to not have them stick out so far. I went into this thinking I would get an external breast lift as well but Dr Maloney said they are at a grade 1 1/2 to 2 ptosis and did not recommend it. I think the remaking of the capsule, like an internal bra for the smaller implants is a genius technique that I had been unaware of prior to embarking on this strange journey. The mind reels … anyways, the first two weeks was painful but doable. I took Advil.

Outstanding surgeon and staff. I’ve been going to Maloneys plastic surgery for over 18 years, mostly for facial lasers etc. This latest treatment was a bit scarier so I was glad I had a surgeon that I had built confidence and trust in. I had him remove my 350 cc silicone high profile implants and replaced them with low profile plus 190 cc silicone. I was worried about how much sag I would have. Dr Maloney did an internal lift and honestly I was surprised the sag was not as bad as I expected. I was thinking with that much of a reduction my girls would be sad and depleted. However I still was adamant that I wanted less volume even if I had sag. I was tired of the high profile implants. They felt too large for me. I have a small body frame . I missed how I looked in clothing with smaller breasts. I should have done this years ago , I feel more youthful in clothing, I’m more comfortable in my body even sleeping is easier. That being said the technique Dr. Maloney did with the internal lift was really what made this a good experience. His surgery center staff are all so nice and reassuring. I have a lot of fears and they all went over and beyond to make me feel at ease.
