So Grateful I Found Dr Caloca!

I am a trans masc AFAB who was referred to Dr Caloca by a trans femme AMAB friend who had implants with him several years ago. She described having a wonderful experience and that was endorsement enough for me to reach out to him. Over a few weeks of correspondence, he gained my trust as a qualified and compassionate medical provider that I could feel safe doing top surgery for me. My feelings were validated upon meeting him in person at his office the day before surgery. He is very kind and clearly a preeminent expert in his field. The rest of his treatment team was no different. From his assistant Giovanna, who provided a very personalized experience helping us with transportation to and from pre op appointments, picking us up and the hotel and taking us to the medical office, and offering the abundance of knowledge she has for patient care, to the phlebotomist, the cardiologist, the anesthesiologist, to the surgery nurse; I found everyone on his team to be compassionate and an expert in their trade. My surgery went off without a hitch. I was blown away at how patient centered and hands on the whole team was. I receive healthcare services through the UCLA medical system in Los Angeles back at home, and found his care to meet or exceed the high standards they have for patient care.
