WORTH IT
After ten months of healing, I think it’s safe to say my breasts have funny adjusted to their new size. Before my surgery, I was a 32 DDD, and I am now sitting at a small 32 B which is exactly what I asked for. My scars are fading nicely, and I have even started to regain feeling in my whole breast.
Since having my surgery in February 2021, my world has completely changed. I am now able to comfortably exercise without pain and discomfort, and I can fit into any sports bra I want! I can also wear clothing items I couldn’t before, like v necks, or even bikinis. My confidence before surgery was next to nothing, but now I am excited to go out every day wearing cute clothes, rather than trying to hide. If anyone is considering a breast reduction but is on the fence, I would strongly encourage you to go for it!

Tomorrow will be 9 weeks since my breast reduction, and I have never been happier. I finally feel comfortable in my own body. Saying Dr. Dickie has changed my life would be an understatement!!

4 Weeks Post-Op

Today is two days from my four week postop mark. I got my sterile strips removed, and everything is healing amazing! I had a bit of internal bleeding on my right breast, but everything is looking like it’s sorting itself out.
