6 1/2 week update

WORTH IT$2,750
Went back to see my surgeon for my 6 week check up and everything is going good. Actually saw him at 5 1/2 weeks, this pic is now from 6 1/2 weeks. My right breast was still bruised and swollen when I saw him, but very slowly getting better. He is keeping me off work until June 14 just because of the type of work I do. Heavy lifting, pushing, pulling etc. (Factory work). I still think the delayed healing on the right side is due to getting the covid vaccine, but I guess there is no way of proving it.
Before the surgery I was a 36 DDD and as of now I'm a 36 D. I was hoping to be closer to a C, but either way I'm happy. They are so much better. Plus a lot less strain on my neck, shoulders and back. I'm trying to lose weight, down 5 lbs since surgery, hoping to lose about 10 more. I'm sure once I get back to work that will help.
Hope everyone's journey's are progressing well!

18 Days

Went to my ps the other day for my 2 week check up. He was really happy with everything. I told him about how much my right breast hurt and the sloshing noise, but he wasn't concerned. He said that that breast bled a lot more and he took more out of it so that was normal. I kind of think getting my vaccine on that side may have had something to do with bringing more bruising and swelling to the surface, but what do I know?! He gave me tape and showed me how to tape my incisions. Told me to change the tape every 7 days for 3 months. I see him again on May 18.
Today is the first day that I'm actually feeling minimal pain in my right breast. Hoping that I'm over the worst of it with that. I would love to get back on my Peloton (which he said was ok). Also, just found out that my insurance BCBS of MI covered my entire surgery so I will be getting refunded all but I think $25-50, whatever I paid for office visits prior to my surgery. I was surprised because he took out less than 350 grams per breast and insurance wanted 440 per breast. Not sure how that worked out but I'm not going to complain!

Getting a little better, I think

So, it's now been 13 days. Two days ago I got a steroid injection and prescription cream for this rash. I'm finally getting some relief. Almost all the surgical glue is off, just a couple small areas left. I don't want to pull them off and risk pulling off scabs.
My right breast...not really sure what's going on with it. The bruising seems to change/worsen daily. Then just when I think its getting better it starts to hurt so bad and I can hear the sloshing sound again. I go back to my ps on Tuesday so I will update what he says.
