Final decision!

I don't know what I would do without RealSelf. I've spent months finding out everything I could about breast reductions. I live in TN, but if all goes well- I will be getting my reduction with Jenny Chang Plastic Surgery in Atlanta, Georgia! I went and had a consultation in Nashville, and just didn't connect with with that plastic surgeon at all. He was cold, rushed everything, told me does breast HIS way, and laughed at me when I asked if the gown should be open to the back or front (duh, the front so he could see what he was working with) It was a dumb nervous question, but it's not like I whip out my biggest insecurity all the time for anyone. Plastic surgeon or not! My husband is in the army and just told me my breasts would come out just fine.... that's not what I wanted to hear. He also wanted me to be realistic about traveling to get this done. Well I finally convinced him to come along and compare consultations. It was about a 4 1/2 hours from where we live any totally worth it! He took back his "just fine" comment real quick! Jenny Chang was perfect. She made me feel safe. She made me excited! The rest of today I've never more felt like get these things off my chest!! Like, I'm ready!!! She informed me how long I had to stay for recovery before I could go home (2days) and then I'd have to be back a week later for two stitches that'll need to be removed. It's a little more work to go far, but she's WORTH it!
I'm now just waiting on what my insurance wants to do. Im hoping for some good news! I met Julie, Bonnie and Ms Heidi! All made me feel important. They all knew a little info on me before I talked to each... it was such a good day. After my last consultation that was months ago, I didn't even want to get a reduction. After my meeting with Jenny Chang, I would have had it today if I could! Check out her work on her site and here. It's so going to be worth it!
