Excellent Results and Excellent Care

For me, and I imagine for most, the first thing you look for in a surgeon is results. Looking at the Before and After pictures online, checking the appearance and scarring. I had my breast reduction and abdominoplasty because I hated my large breasts - wider than my body - and my apron pouch belly after several pregnancies and two caesareans.
I selected Mr Patel because it was clear his results are excellent- and they are. I cannot believe how I look. My breasts have reduced by 5 cup sizes and my stomach is flat. I have just bought normal pants instead of granny pants for the first time in years! The scarring is neat and reducing rapidly.

However, I got especially lucky. What I didn’t know was how caring Mr Patel and his team are. So reassuring and gentle, understanding and supportive. This made a huge difference, it reduced my fears significantly. The nurses all spoke very highly of Mr Patel, including when he wasn’t present. This is telling! When I returned to Spire to see a nurse to have the dressings removed Mr Patel wasn’t in the hospital that day but the nurse helping me said ‘Oh, Mr Patel, you are so lucky to have him as your surgeon - he’s so good, and so kind.’

If you are reading this review because you are considering this surgery- it is life changing and I don’t exaggerate that. I have more confidence, am able to move more, exercise better and easier, and bras are cheaper!! I have found myself able to buy clothes because I like them rather than because they drape or hide my figure.
If you are reading this review to help decide on a surgeon- you can’t go wrong picking Mr Patel - an excellent surgeon with incredible results, but also so kind and understanding (enough to also reassure my cynical husband!). Reassuring and gentle throughout. I won’t share my before and after pics because of my job but I am unrecognisable and I love it! Thank you Mr Patel for every stage of this process.
