WORTH IT
Healing very well! Eveything is good! I feel good and am doing well. I started using the mederma oil for scars and sunscreen about two to three weeks ago. I just keep the incisions moisturized to reduce scarring.

I had my third post - op appointment and my doctor was amazed at how fast I am healing. When it comes to healing, he said that I am one of his best post surgery patients. I love my new breasts and now I can work on healthily losing some weight and strength training. I am well pleased with everything; although I do feel that my nipples are a little too close together, but that's no big deal.

Clothes fit so well on me now...

My healing is going smoothly. My right breast is taking a little longer as far as pain goes, maybe that's the one he removed the most breast tissue from or because it's the arm I use the most. Everything is going well and I am starting to get out of the house more. I love my new look and clothes fit so beautifully on me now. I just have to work on my scar treatment now. I will post photos later today.

How many grams per breast were removed. Im a 36DDD. Insurance requires 500 grams per breast removed. Worried ill be too small

I was a 36 DD. My plastic.surgeon removed 800 grams from one breast and 850 from the other. It depends if the breast tissue that is removed is mostly dense or mostly fat breast tissue. Dense breast tissue weighs more. So 500 grams could be a 1 cup bra difference for one person and a 2 cup bra difference for another person.

Thanks for replying. What size do you think you will be once your swelling goes down. Im sooo nervous i will be too small for my body. I am 5'3" 155lb. But i have a very very short torso so i will be all chubby belly if i get too much removed. I was told i have dense breast with a wide base.

A lot of people do not tell you that your abdomen will swell some after a breast reduction surgery. So it's not all tummy. I think I will be about a medium C cup. Ask your surgeon how much does he plan on removing because they don't ever really know for sure until they're actually performing the procedure. Show him or her a picture of what you're trying to get close to. It worked for me. I showed my plastic surgeon the morning before the procedure, lol. I was nervous too but it will be well worth it. Your surgeon might remove about 2 pounds per breast. It seems like a lot.
