This surgery has definitely changed my life for the better.

So I had my last post op appt with my surgeon on the 29th of october. My doctor removed the 3 stitches that didn’t dissolve which was pretty painless. He also took the tape off from around my nipples which hurt a little bit since they were still pretty stuck on there. He has lifted all of my restrictions but he still doesn’t want me to put too much pressure on them until a few months. I have my last appt with him completely in january. He also told me in a week or 2 I can start scar treatment which I’m pretty excited about. I think I am going to do the silicone scar patches. I feel just about back to normal, I also started sleeping on my side last week which took some getting used to.

Okay today makes 1 week and one day since my surgery. I’m feeling really good but my right breast is starting to get a little irritated the more the feeling comes back. Other than that I am loving my new breasts. I had my post op appt today with my surgeon and he says everything is healing well.

So I consider my first day post op as my surgery day, only because my surgery was SOOOO early in the day. I was really zoned out, mostly sleep during the entire day. Pain was at a minimum, it really only felt like soreness. I did not take a shower this day.
