J Cup to D Cup Reduction
WORTH IT$6,064
It was never really a question for me that I would at some point get a breast reduction. A lifetime of back and shoulder pain, along with difficulties clothes shopping contributed to my decisions, but when I realised how much my confidence had taken a beating I knew it was time.
The procedure took place two days ago but as yet I have not seen below the compression garment. Will keep you all updated.

Hospital stay
Have had drains and pico7 dressings. Not too much pain and am coping pretty well. I'm struggling a little bit with how dramatic the change is- I keep thinking that they are too small- I'm sure that once they settle they'll sit more naturally and seem bigger. It's very likely it's just my head getting used to the change.

It's been my experience that one can never be too small breasted after surgery. I had a BR 25 yrs ago and not enough was removed. I was disappointed once they dropped and resumed their permanent position as there wasn't much of a difference in my prior size and the new size. A lot of ladies think they look too small right after surgery but once they start to heal and the breasts take on their new look they can sometimes become large(er) post surgery. Every patient is different though but that has been my case. Fast forward 25 yrs and i will be soon having my second BR.
You look fabulous and hope your enjoying the new and improved and perkier tatas! :)

Getting there
It's been a slow few weeks. I came down with pneumonia after the surgery so I've been struggling a bit. Am finally starting to feel better and am actually beginning to sleep ok.
In fairness though it has all been so worth it. The results are already making such a difference in my way of life and in my self confidence. I am excited to buy clothes. I'm not ashamed to exist.

"I'm not ashamed to exist"---I pray you feel better about yourself but a gal should never be made to feel ashamed just because of their breast size. We are soooo much more than just a pair of boobs. Many people can't get beyond that. At 56 yrs young I have always been the "chick with the boobs"--I hated it--still do. Which is why I'll be getting mine done before December. Then people will have to look me in the eyes instead of my hooters and maybe take me seriously.
You look fabulous, girl and I hope your life and confidence sky-rocket! All the best! :)

BTW--do you happen to know how much your surgeon removed? I'm a DD but want to be a small B. Good luck, Hun!

it amounted to 1.2kgs total, with a little bit more (close to 100gms) more taken from my right than my left. He did tell me exact numbers- but I was flying high on pain meds haha

LOL! Ya those meds can really launch a gal...I've had a few surgeries in my time--I can relate! Woo Hoo!
You had some substantial chunks removed--that's groovy! The more they remove the more comfortable I believe life becomes! The tatas just get in the way of living life I think. Continue to heal and I pray your surgery continues to be a positive part of the new "you"!!
