How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

7 Weeks post op
Some scar shots - 7 weeks later. All discomfort has been gone for a couple of weeks now. I’m back to sleeping on my side and tummy comfortably. Boobs are less hard and more natural looking and I have normal sensation in both nipples now.
Overall I am absolutely ecstatic with the results. I don’t care about the scars or the slight irregularities in my nipples as the freedom to wear non-wired bras or even no bra is just amazing. I feel, and have been told, I look lots thinner despite not really loosing weight and I believe it’s because the first thing you see isn’t a huge pair of breasts.

3 Weeks Post Surgery
I had most of the internal stitches removed from under each breast yesterday - it wasn’t fun! Not unbearable but not nice at all!
I’ve felt a bit down the last few days. Mostly because I felt I’d taken a few steps backwards with my healing and was feeling fed up that my incisions were still weeping a bit.
I’m also still sleeping in the lazy boy chair as I don’t feel comfortable laying flat, nor do
I trust that I won’t roll onto my side or stomach in my sleep.
I’ve also only just had my first proper shower and even that was only allowing the water to hit my back. It’s frustrating as when I read many other reviews, people talk about being able to shower much sooner but I presume that living in Bangkok, where the water isn’t clean enough to drink means the doctors are more cautious about getting it into the wounds and causing infection.
Movement still feels quite restricted and I’ve only lifted my 14month only for the first time today - not a good idea as I didn’t feel ready and it ached afterwards.

1 week post surgery
Went back to work yesterday, exactly one week after surgery. It was hard and I would definitely have preferred another week off to to just rest, take it easy and have daytime naps for a bit longer as tiredness has been the biggest challenge.
I’ve been back to the doctor twice since being discharged to have the dressings changed. Today he also removed the tape from the long incision under each breast and was pleased with how they were sealing. I was also pleasantly surprised with how neat the cuts looked.
I’m mostly off all pain meds and antibiotics now. I still have a slightly bloated stomach and constipation which isn’t fun!
