Age 64, droopy 36GG to perky 36D after vertical breast reduction (lollipop)
ORIGINAL POST
Best Thing I've Ever Done
WORTH IT
I am 64 years old & in November I had a vertical breast reduction (lollipop method) performed by the brilliant Lisa Sacks. I decided after many, many years of suffering the consequences of having very large breasts that it really was now or never. I had already lost a lot of weight & was running 5k three times a week but my breasts did not decrease in size & they were a constant hindrance to my new way of life. I became a member of a facebook support group for ladies considering having a breast reduction or who had just had one done & Lisa was recommended to me by several ladies that had already had their ops & were very happy. I wanted a lady surgeon so I too took the plunge & contacted Lisa through her PA Liana who was also extremely helpful & caring.
After my first consultation I knew Lisa was the surgeon for me, we hit it off straight away. She understood my concerns & we discussed my expectations fully. The procedure was explained, I was shown before & after pictures & I was not pressurised in any way to make a decision to proceed but I knew I wanted to & the date was booked.
The operation itself was a breeze. Now I know that it's not this way for everyone but I followed all of Lisa's instructions to the letter & I can honestly say that I had no pain, healed really quickly & the results were amazing. I went from a droopy 36GG to a very perky 36D & now nearly 4 months on I've settle at a very nice 34D.
I am now much more confident in nearly every single way & all of the problems associated with having large breasts have disappeared.
The after care I've received from Lisa & Liana has been second to none & I felt that I could contact Liana about anything big or small & it was in no way a problem.
I would say that the money I've spent on having this procedure done has singularly been the best money I've ever spent on myself & that I'd do it again in a heartbeat. After all you can't put a price on happiness can you?

The only advice that i would give is just do it, don't waste as much time as me. Do your homework, ask the right questions & just do it.

Definitely can't put a price on happiness :) I'm so glad things went well for you. Do you have any tips or advice for others who are considering a breast reduction?
