Post Op #3

It’s been about 3 weeks now and I’m lookin and feelin great!!! Just visited the doc to have the tape and last of stitches removed. Tape was fine but stitches hurt just a bit. Love how my lil boobies are turning out so far!!! Can’t wait to see how they continue to change in the months to come. Happy new year!!!

How has everything turned out so far?

A week later

3 days after surgery I had my first post op. Doctor removed my drains and took a look at my new boobies and said everything looked great!!! I was nervous to see what was going on underneath all the bloody bra and gauze but my little frankenstein [RS bleep] were not so bad!!! Minimal bruising and all the right things in the right places. They look like little bubbles right now, tight and high on my chest from the swelling. I think they will sit very nice when they drop and soften a bit.

The meds haven’t made me feel too sick, just a bit of nausea some days and the doctor prescribed me medicine for that which seemed to help. Also gingerale! I stopped taking the prescribed pain meds on day 3 and started taking extra strength Tylenol during the day & Tylenol PM at night. Every day the pain lessens and I become more mobile so this worked great for me! I wanted to stop taking the Oxy ASAP because it was making me constipated. Sorry TMI, but that’s the real tea SIS!! Stool softener helped. On day 4 I finally pooped!! It was awesome.

Now it’s been a whole week later and I’m pretty much going about my life as usual. Sleeping has been the WORST part from the beginning because I usually sleep on my stomach and have had to adjust to sleeping on my back. At first it caused me all kinds of horrible neck pains and back cramps but it’s gotten easier every night. The Tylenol PM helps. I think I’m most excited to be able to sleep on my belly again at the end of all of this lol.

I was finally able to find a bra that clips in the front and is much less bulky and more comfortable than the one they gave me at the hospital. Check it out!!

My Breast Reduction (34DDD to B/C)

I’m 21, 5’3” and 134 lbs. I was a 34DDD. I have been wanting to do this for sooooo long but never had the means. Finally I was able to save up some money from a good summer job and pulled the trigger! Today is the day after my surgery. I have drains on and am feeling quite a bit of pain and pressure in my chest. It hurts more to stand than to be laying down and I need help maneuvering around the house. Nervous to take my first dose of antibiotics and pain meds because I was told they would make me feel sick, but we’ll see! Hopefully not. Fingers crossed????????
