3.5 year update (Lost feelings in nipples permanently)

WORTH IT
Photos to come soon! After 3.5 years my nipple feelings have not returned...never to return. I do wish I knew about the risks associated with losing all feeling. It gets me down sometimes when I think about it but there's nothing I can do :(. Please take that into consideration before going through with the surgery.

Oh my! Im sorry to hear that.
The loss of sensitivity is why I haven’t done this surgery for 15 years! I’m a 36H. Scheduled for surgery 3/3/23. Did you know immediately that you had lost sensitivity? Does this mean your nipples never get hard or do they still contract but you just don’t feel it? I am so sorry you had to sacrifice sensitivity for the lovely look.
I hope you will please respond as I still consider cancelling the surgery bc the loss of sensitivity feels too great a price. What is your honest answer, would you have done the procedure knowing you’d lose feeling?!?!?!
Sorry for the late reply. They do contract but barely felt/
I did have the reduction. Initially I was over the moon bc I had nipple sensitivity (they contract in the cold and I can feel them) within 72 hours. It’s been four months now and I have realized I have feeling - in the way you can feel someone touching, like, the tip of your nose - but there is no “erogenous” sensitivity. Very devastating. When the doctor said he had done this procedure 500 times and no one lost sensitivity, it didn’t occur to me that I needed to ask, “Are you talking erogenous sensitivity or simply the ability to feel contact?”
If your a breast person then yes loosing the sensation will bother you. But, you have to pick your demon, a bad back, shoulders and neck or feelings from temporary pleasure. I had mine done 12/2022 and I feel fabulous and don't care if I loose feeling in my breast nipples my husband is a booty man anyway.
Thanks for the candor!
I lost sensitivity too! Also have horrible keloid scars. I wish I can go back in time. Would have never done it. Maybe just a lift.
Thank you for sharing so honestly, too.
I had a pretty major reduction and didn't lose much feeling (I'm almost two years out) but I never had much feeling to begin with. I love your nipple placement! Mine are just a touch too low so I still need a bra. I was very disappointed about that. I had actually shown my surgeon where I wanted my nipples and he insisted I was "wrong" and it would look bad. I love how arrogant men know better than we do about what we want for our own bodies? Over all though I look and feel better and healthier than I did before.

The scars are slightly lighter and less raised, when I get my insurance back I will need to see a dermatologist to get these scars fixed! Overall I like my results

Get Scar control oil go online, vitamin e oil for scars. I’ve used it after surgery scar where?
Your surgeon will tell you that there are ‘plasters’ that contain a healing preparation that you can use to make the scars almost invisible. Worth the cost.
Did you get implants with your lift?
Thanks for sharing!!!!

10 month update

Hey y’all! This is my 10 month update on my breast reduction. As far as my results, I am truly pleased! However, I developed hypertrophic scars on the incision :(. I’m going to do silicone sheets or some type of professional scar removal. I’m a little self conscious about them. Nonetheless, I haven’t worn a bra in months!

Also wanted to add I still do not have feeling in my nipples.
They truly look fabulous, the shape and size are amazing. I wish you the best with the scar treatment, I don't have any advice to share on scar treatment as I am only 10 days post op from my own breast reduction but hopefully others can chime in.
Results look great, try biocorneum for the scars
I'm worried about hypertrophic scars too. I have a huge one that spans from my shoulder to elbow, over 1/4 way around, on one arm. I know I'm going to have scars from the reduction, but I think some scars will be better than the huge breasts.
Right. Thats how i feel too
Hi the breast still looks drop..maybe its just me..good luck in recovering.
