I TAKE IT BACK.
Unfortunately this review is negative. I posted one a couple of months ago with 5 stars. But these are the lessons you learn... NEVER post a favorable review before a decent amount of time has passed, and you have fully recovered.
I went to see Dr. Nathan for my 12-week post-op visit. My case was difficult, I will not lie. I had a severe infection from a fat transfer to the breast surgery. The infection ravaged my right side. My left side was never infected, but needed reconstruction after the previous fat transfer surgery failed to "stick". I have a very prominent indentation on my left breast. Dr. Nathan was supposed to fix both my breasts, but for whatever reason, the left did not get as much attention as my right during surgery. He inserted a mesh, but even with that, my left breast simply looked the same as before surgery. I barely felt any pain, which indicated to me that not as much "work" was done on that side; whereas on my right side, the pain was pretty bad. And the indentation on my left side that was there before surgery, was STILL there even on the ride home after surgery... I was so groggy from surgery, but the first thing on my mind was to see if my dents were gone. So I took a peek. The first thing I saw was a dent on my left side, STILL. This means to me, he barely touched my left side.
Mind you, he stood me up and marked me up before surgery. He has "before" pictures. He has "after" pictures. But what is most disheartening isn't even these details I share with you. It's this part:
What is most disheartening is that I went to my 12-week visit with the hopes of discussing correction and other options to get my confidence back. I just want to feel like myself again. On 3 separate post-op visits (the one right after surgery, and then another one around 2 weeks and then around 4-5 weeks), Dr. Nathan said the words to me, "you have to let me fix that left side". He mentioned it on more than one occasion. He told me we would have to wait at least 6 months, but not to worry because we can fix it.
Well, yesterday, when I asked him about this, he denied that he said it. I could hardly believe him. He seemed offended that I felt like a little more work needs to be done before I am back to normal. I could not understand his offended tone, because I was not even there to complain! I was there to discuss options with him, and even had the money ready to leave a deposit for a second surgery. I could not believe he was being like that. I'm not f***g crazy. He told meat least 3 times "we need to wait at least 6 months, but you have to let me fix that". But you know what he did? He looked me straight in the eye and denied it, and then said to me, and I quote, "I must have misspoke". His words. Exactly.
Wow, so you misspoke 3 times on different occasions? Then he proceeded to dismiss my feelings by telling me, "You should be happy because considering where you came from, what I was able to do was nothing short of a miracle". I mean, wow. How tone deaf was that comment? I've suffered with these breast issues for 3 years. I've lost all my confidence and he tried to kill my hope. I drove home crying!
But you be the judge. Look at my pictures. Was there an improvement on my right side? YES. But a miracle? That's a stretch.

Breast Reconstruction
I had to have a breast reconstruction after a severe infection (after explant and fat transfer). The damage was severe. I didn't have a lot of hope for a good result, to be honest. But I was very very pleasantly surprised with my results. Dr. Nathan reconstructed my breasts perfectly and they look so natural. I'm beyond happy and hopeful that my healing will be just as perfect. Furthermore, his bedside manner and demeanor are great! He's awesome. And his staff is great too! Barbara was the best. I highly recommend Dr. Nathan :-)
