All Natural Reconstruction

Dr. Rosenberg did a fantastic job with my breast reconstruction. I was diagnosed at 62 years old with right DCIS. I knew that I wanted a double mastectomy but I thought that I didn't care about reconstruction. My general surgeon told me I should see Dr. Rosenberg for an opinion and I'm so glad that I did! I thought I was too old for reconstruction but Dr. Rosenberg told me that was a myth and that since I was healthy (other than the BC) that I was a good candidate for reconstruction. I decided to do DIEP flap reconstruction. His office staff took care of coordinating dates with the general surgeon and got all the necessary insurance authorizations.
Dr. Rosenberg was very patient and listened to my concerns about surgery.
I'm so glad I decided to do a natural reconstruction. Not having to worry about implants as I get older is a blessing. It took a few surgeries to get totally done but I love my new breasts! Thank you Dr. Rosenberg.
