After losing 40 pounds, my breasts fell and lost their shape. I decided to get a lift and I'm very happy so far. I am 1 day out of surgery and very sore. It's not an unbearable pain but just very very sore. The pain medication is helping a lot. I will keep this journey updated.

Can I ask what size you were before surgery? I have my preop appointment October 5th then surgery 2 weeks later. I keep going back and forth lift vs implants.

Something I’ve learned within this first week: DONT judge you boobs the first day out of surgery. When I first saw them they looked too big, awkwardly shaped, and just wasn’t too crazy about them. It’s only been a week and I am starting to LOVE them. The swelling has gone down and they are taking a good shape. I’m excited to start healing these scars too!

My surgery is in 2 days. While I am excited, I am suddenly very nervous. Would you recommend that I try not to look at them? I know I’m going to wake up and ask “how do they look?” Ha!

i hope your surgery went well! definitely don't judge your boobs the first 3 weeks. they will be swollen and not settled. your body is going through a lot of trauma and just let it rest! i wish you the best.
