Backstory: Got Mentor implants from a different Atlanta plastic surgeon in January 2018. Flash forward to January 2022. I wake up one morning with one of my breast’s completely hard and in tons of pain. Call my previous surgeon to see if I can come in and get his opinion - I get the run around and they can’t see me unless I want to pay a $200 new patient fee (HA!). So I go through my PCP and start down the series of tests: mammogram, ultrasound then finally get an MRI. During my actual MRI the tech gives me that “oh shit” look. I get a call back the next day - “your implant has ruptured, you need to get it out asap”. *Cue all the anxiety and fear*
I talk to a friend who had plastic surgery recently and she won’t stop gushing about Dr. Klein. I immediately called and that is the moment when I realized this was the place I needed to go. PRO TIP: If you’ve never been to a PS before you may not know this - but the front office and support staff DO immensely matter and play a huge part in your journey. I cannot say enough about how nice, sweet, supportive and attentive the ENTIRE staff is at Northside Plastic Surgery. I never felt trivialized or unheard and could always count on them to follow up when they said they would.
Now on to Dr. Klein! I never knew a plastic surgeon like this existed until I met him. He actually LISTENS to everything you have to say and ensures that the plan he drafts meets all of your expectations and is something you are comfortable with. I went in knowing I did not want new implants and just wanted a lift/reconstruction, and he did NOT try and pressure me to get anything else done. (I am slightly overweight so I know that he could have recommended lipo or other procedures but he didn’t). Dr. Klein is a wonderful human and an amazing plastic surgeon.
I’m 6 weeks post op and have never been happier about how my breasts look. It seems like magic, but it’s all due to the artistry of Dr. Klein. I would and have been recommending him to whoever I can. He is the real deal and if I ever need anything else I won’t look anywhere else.
