Breast Lift

I've always wanted a breast lift since high school when I realized my breasts were significantly saggier than my friends. Although there is no such thing as perfect boobs and everyone is different I was just generally unhappy with mine and as I took birth control the got heavier and saggier. At 22, I had breast that looked like they had fed two kids and I was over it. So this May I decided to get my breast done and started my serious research that went beyond just looking at before and after pics and had some consultations and finally picked and set a date for June with one of the surgeons I saw, Dr. Samir Shah.
Overall the breast lift went amazing! I'm five days post op and I feel great! My breast look amazing and perky and honestly better than I thought they would. We also opted in a mesh internal bra to help with the lifting since I had significant sagging. The pain is so minimal while wearing a bra, it's just a mild discomfort at this point. I only took the heavy meds prescribed to me for about 2-3 days and then switched over to Tylenol and ibuprofen and now nothing! In terms of swelling and bruising they are going away pretty quickly as well. My nipples look healthy with no signs of infection or dying on any part of the incision as far as I can tell.
I'm still in the beginning of healing and I know I have a long way to go but so far everything looks great. There is some unevenness and lumpiness on the underside of my breasts which I know is normal and will settle with time. Once they settle it'll give the underside a more rounded out look over time because right now they look a bit square on the bottom. There's also a bit of unevenness in terms of size and shape again due to swelling, but all breast will heal differently and normally one breast heals faster than the other.
I couldn't be happier with my results and I can't wait to see the final results!! I'll update once things start to settle :)

I love how positive you are. I'm getting a BA tomorrow, and I'm so nervous. I haven't heard one Brest heals faster then the other, and that is kind important to her, so thank you.

4 week ish update! Bandages off!

jalexd2019
Breasts look great currently! Bandages are officially off and I’ve started scar treatment with Silagen silicone cream. They are obviously still healing so there’s a bit of unevenness now in the nipples as the tighten and loosen etc. but the bottom has rounded out pretty nicely and I’m very impressed with the look overall. As the swelling goes down I realize the space between my breasts (which is more or less unfixable as my ps told me prior) is still there and I still don’t like it lol but the difference of how great my breast look after looking at the before is astonishing!
A couple of things to note!
1. My left breast is still more swollen again this is likely because more internal work needed to be done on that breast.
2. There was a minor opening near my nipple as you can see in the pics. This was a split stitch, very common and easily healable.
3. A lot of the darkening around the incisions is because of the hyperpigmentation yes, but also due to the adhesive that was on there for a while so it need to exfoliate once I get permission.
