Breast Lift & Thigh Lift
$22,000
Round two of my transformation begins on Tuesday. After healing from my lower body lift, abdominoplasty & arm lift in April I'm headed back to the OR for a breast lift with implants and a thigh lift. As an avid lifter, I've opted for small over-the-muscle implants (255 cc?) that won't be a detriment to my workout routine. My legs are a different story...no amount of exercise seems to improve them. I have 17-inch calves which my surgeon tells me can't be changed because they're mostly muscle, but I'm hopeful that the thigh lift will at least allow me to comfortably wear shorts. Wish me luck...pics to follow!

I Did It!
So I'm just now coherent enough to write a reasonably understandable post. My surgery was scheduled for 10 yesterday, but it was closer to 11 that things got underway. Dr. Rubin marked & photographed me, and all I remember was waiting outside the OR & then waking up in recovery. I wasn't in much pain upon waking, but, BUYER BEWARE, as I lie in the hospital bed now my thighs hurt so bad I cannot move them! My chest is wrapped & looks swollen, but any pain pales in comparison to my legs. I also had Vaser Lipo done on my chin, and other than the chin wrap there's no discomfort there.
I'm going a bit stir crazy not being allowed to walk yet - they want 8 hours of bedrest first. So I'm looking forward to getting my catheter removed, and experiencing what I know will be sheer hell in my thighs upon standing. I'm not really understanding the schedule for my pain meds, because I'm not seeing nurses come around ever few hours; however, I will make certain that I am adequately medicated for walking tomorrow! I will say that resting is much easier this time versus the TT & LBL, but I'm pretty sure getting mobile in the morning will be brutal!

There really is no way to truly prepare you for your thighs. It's the worst procedure I have had but it has also given me the biggest reward. FYI to pee so I didn't have to squat I bought a few go girls and stood and peed in a jar. Best thing I did. Swelling and pain was intense and I thought it wouldn't end but it did and know I couldn't be more happy. I too love to workout and lift. I can do so much more with the skin out of the way and it looks fantastic. Just do what they say to the T and you'll do greay

@SoSoHappy1 - when did your swelling go down? I'm at 5.5 weeks PO from a thigh lift and it is still pretty bad...

Girl it took months. I know it's not what you want to hear but it did. It was terrible. I thought something was wrong. I wish I had been more mentally prepared or someone had told me. I was questioning whether or not it was worth it. In the end though I would say it definitely was I'll send you pics. I did end up getting lymphatic drainage massage

Wow - that is actually good to hear b/c I thought I was abnormal as well. He said 75% would be gone in 6 weeks - DEFINITELY not!! Then almost all gone in 3 months. When you say months - do you mean like 3 or 6 or more? I think the Docs downplay the recovery to get more patients but I'd rather have known more what to expect so I could have prepared like you said. Did you have the long scars down to your knees as well?

Okay, longer than I expected but it is what it is and I'm looking forward to feeling amazing as well LOL. Good for you!

Day 2
Pain. Intense pain. Probably the most intense pain I've ever experienced. The nurse removed my catheter, and had me stand for the first time. My legs were on fire, and there are not words to describe the pain that was untouched by narcotics. My knee was in excruciating pain, which I found out later in the day was attributable to the drain placement...thankfully they may come out tomorrow. By evening I am walking (slowly lumbering to be more exact) up & down the hospital halls. It hurts horribly, but it gets a little easier each time.
My breasts have not yet been unwrapped, but any pain is not noticeable compared to my legs. Cannot feel any pain from vaser lipo to chin except when palpitates

I'm sorry you are experiencing this. Trust me it will be short-lived, but I know it's bad. Keep us updated!

I feel bad that your going through this...your such a gorgeous girl!!! I am so very excited to see what the new you will look like. You truly are going to be that caterpillar that blossoms into the most stunning butterfly! We are all wishing you well and positive thoughts and good vibes! xx

Keep us posted I'll be following me hoping for comfort soon. I'm 6 weeks out from thigh lift. Did you have full vertical lift?
September 8, 2017
I think it was full vertical. Incisions extend onto my knee cap and along both sides of my girl parts. Pain is less intense today, except for using the bathroom - that position hurts.

Are you on pain meds? I also found icing the area helps and just staying still with my legs elevated.

Hi why did you opt for a thigh lift rather than liposuction. Sorry if you said but I can’t see it in your previous posts. Good to know if you’re happy to explain
