Breast lift with no implants on small breasts

I’d been thinking about getting a breast lift done for a long time and I’m sooo glad I did. I wanted to put out this review because I spent a lot of time looking for reviews of breast lifts without implants on women with smaller breasts, and maybe this can help someone else in their journey.
I’ve always had moderate ptosis and after breastfeeding my two kids my breasts seriously deflated and drooped even more. From the first consultation I knew Dr. Lee was the right surgeon for me - he was knowledgeable, experienced, and actually listened to my questions and concerns. I’d met with another surgeon beforehand who’d told me that he would do the lift but I would not be happy with it and recommended implants, which I’d explicitly said I was not interested in. Needless to say, Dr. Lee honouring my choice and working within what was realistic for me made all the difference. I am not a big girl (5’5, 135lb, 34B) and I knew that a lift would only do so much, but Dr. Lee said that he wouldn’t perform a lift and augmentation at the same time even if I wanted it due to the degree of lift required.
I had my surgery on November 27 and it went really well. I had sedation instead of general anesthesia which I think helped a lot with recovery in the first 24 hours. I didn’t end up needing anything stronger than Tylenol - honestly, I was shocked at how manageable the pain was, in my opinion it never topped out past 6/10 on the pain scale. There is already a maaaassive difference in how my breast look and I’m so pleased even with the early results. They were a bit swollen on the top in the first few days and when that swelling went down I got a little sad (lol) but it gave me a good idea of what an implant would provide for my upper pole. I was so nervous to see what things looked like at the 2 day post op dressing change, I was beyond relieved to see how clean the lines were and that my nipples were nice and pink.
I’m a week post op tomorrow and feel great, I know I have a lot of internal healing going on but I pretty much feel back to normal already. I can definitely tell when I’ve overdone it though - I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old, so when I’ve had to pull them back from something or spent the day running after them I can feel it in my incisions and know I need to chill out a bit. I’m supposed to get my dressings taken off tomorrow but there is a massive snowstorm happening overnight and the clinic is 2.5 hours from my house. I’m looking forward to seeing what they look like without the bandages - I’ll update soon!

Just wanted to update that all is well and I’m loving my results so far. I had a small infection develop under one breast but I went on a round of antibiotics and it’s pretty much all cleared up. I’m really missing exercise and it’s been hard to not hold my kids, I’m looking forward to being cleared to do more stuff by the six week mark. Also really missing baths, but I no longer have to wear the compression bra so that’s a big win!
