I came to Rhee Plastic Surgery with lots of hope and a lot of doubt. I went in for a consultation (eventually a second one) for a breast lift scar revision. I had an augmentation and breast lift done in 2021 by another plastic surgeon and let me tell you, the results were horrifying. Horrible can’t begin to describe how bad my scars got. And this other surgeon was board certified and checked out. I did my research. But what he did to me was careless sloppy work. I felt like I had Frankenstein boobs. I was depressed, in pain, and hopeless. I knew I had to do something. I consulted with various surgeons but when I came across Dr Rhee, there was something that stood out. I am Latina with medium-tan skin and we have a higher chance of having poor scaring. Meaning, an experienced surgeon who is meticulous is super important. I noticed Dr. Rhee has many patients (happy ones) who have darker skin tones and the work is impeccable. Erin (his front desk manager) and Suzanne (his nurse) go above and beyond. Dr. Rhee listens like no other surgeon I consulted with, listens. He is thorough in his explanation, is very honest and truly takes his time. I had my procedure done in June and I never imagined my breasts could ever look as beautiful as they do. I am extremely happy and it has been life changing for me. The pain is gone, and I am all smiles when I look at myself in the mirror. My close friends and family also keep raving at what an excellent job my surgeon did. For anyone who is on the fence, trust me, you will NOT regret choosing Dr. Rhee and his team for your cosmetic procedures. I’m so happy and I’m even going to book another procedure with him. He could have encouraged me to do both at the same time. But he didn’t. He knew I already had trauma from my first procedure with a surgeon who simply wasn’t meticulous, so he advised to do the revision first. It was the best advice for me to take and the best decision I made. Not only did he revise my scars and they look amazing, he also improved the position and shape of my breasts, so they are more lifted and the overall appearance has improved so much!
