Horrible Scar!!! Left Areola Tissue on my Scar

$4,500
Dr.Williams is a prodigy on bbl procedure but my experience on my breast lift he performed has left me devastated. He failed to inform me on the pre op consultation that areola tissue will be left around of the of the vertical cut of the anchor cut on my breast. Until the last minutes before going to surgery when he was marking my breast and body for lipo areas he disclosed it!!! i was in shocked! and with an IV needle on my arm already I did nothing but to trust him since he is so reputable. i thought i had no other choice, but researching other similar procedure with breast and areola size as mine their scars are just scars, normal with out any areola around them , why did he do this ??? the shape is good, and i dont mind the line of the scar i knew I was going to have one, but not he brown part around it it wont go away with no silicone or gels because like he said is areola tissue :(

Response from Dr. Schwarz:
Unfortunately sometimes the areola is too big to allow for all of it to be removed during a lift. Because the areolae are too large some of that areolar tissue remains behind along the incision. It won't go away with silicone or scar treatments but sometimes I am able to remove it once the breast implants have settled and that skin stretches a little bit to allow for the complete excision of that areolar tissue after the implants have been in place for a couple of years.

This is "retained areola" and can happen sometimes. They can usually cut the left over areola skin out in an office procedure. He shouldn't charge you for this.
I agree ☝️, thanks
I don’t have implants, this was just a lift. According to other plastic surgeons revision can be done now since it’s been over a year. Of course I will get charged full rate of $5,000 -$8000 depending on the surgeon, would you please revise this Dr. Williams ?
Do you have any before pictures for us?
WTF? Did you meet with him for a full consult before the surgery or only minutes before your surgery?
