Options After Explant and Anchor Mastopexy

After having my saline 550cc implants for 10 years, I decided to have them removed 14 months ago and do a breast lift. There was nothing wrong with them, I was just tired of them. (I am 36, no children, 5’5 and weigh 140) My implants were under the muscle and I had them removed along with the capsule. I did a breast lift (anchor) at the same time. I knew within a few weeks that my breasts didn’t look right. The incisions under the breast are very long and can be seen on both my lateral chest and in my cleavage area. There is no real shape to the tissue and there seems to be a lot of extra skin. They began to drop and sag within 1 month and it has caused stretch marks on my breast that I didn’t have before. I have what appears to be significant scar tethering in some areas. The breast tissue doesn’t appear to have been really shaped- I have areas that look like tissue has been scooped away and other spots where it feels very hard. When I lay down, they immediately fall up and into my armpits. They continue to get further apart as well. I cannot do anything without the right breast “jumping” up. Animation deformity I think is the term? My nipples are also saying hello to the sky. I have consulted a few times with my surgeon and have been told removing a little skin from under the breast or a fat transfer are my only options. I had also been told that removing skin that way was probably not a good solution at my last consult with my dr (same dr) so I feel like I’m getting conflicting info. I didn’t have this issue with the animation when the implants were still in. When I asked about the bad and very visible tethering and the breast “jumping” I was told to be careful and not flex my chest muscles. I don’t think any of those options are really any sort of a long term answer. I absolutely do not want implants placed again and really don’t want to do a fat transfer. Could a revision lift fix the concerns I have? What further questions should I be asking?

I have had a consult with the @beautybroker and she recommends plastic surgeons that do revisions. For breast she says Dr. Ramos. These are absolutely not right IMO and all the stuff your doc said is total bs and I think you probably know that deep down.
Thank you for the tip!!! I’m going to hang on to that just in case. I have a consult with a new surgeon next week so hopefully get things fixed up properly
please dont let the same dr try to fix this, as it usually turns out worse
you need to go get a few consultations
im sorry this happened to you, did you retain your sensation in nipples?
I actually had an increase in sensation after the procedure! I have a consult with another surgeon who specializes in more difficult breast work next week. Thankfully my frustrations are all cosmetic (and not painful or debilitating) but still very frustrating none the less!
The Dr failed you . Sorry you have to go through this .
You skin would have retracted and thickened if he would have removed the implants . Then waited 6 months to do the breast lift .
I think you should have a revision breast lift .
You breast will continue to retract over time.
I would ask questions about using internal mesh to help support and molding you own breast tissue . Then after the breast is shaped and supported a full breast lift.
I think you will be very happy .
