Just passed a week out. Finally getting some tape off and the girls look so good!
Still numb on my lower back and swollen a bit everywhere but my incisions are looking amazing.
Doctor follow up was Tuesday.
Keeping the foam on my stomach to hopefully help with smooth healing on my abdomen. I currently have some extra skin above belly
button from lipo but I know I need to be patient with the renuvion to see how it helps. Either way I would rather have that slightly creped skin than the fat TBH.
Been off any pain relievers since day five.
Was able to do most of a barre class yesterday. Mostly all lower body. No crunches etc. the push/pull feels weird on chest (galaflex I am assuming) and burns a tad so not doing those yet. Planks have been fine.
I’m a super go-go-go person so slowing down to heal is giving me some anxiety but I know it’s required so trying to be gentle on myself.

Day 3
I waited to shower until today and put on my new suit. I’m glad I did! I got a marena bikini brief suit (size small) and so far it feels amazing. The binding I was sent home in pushed a lot of fluid up to my underarm so hopefully this helps compress and even it out quicker.
I’m super super swollen still. Down to one norco every 5-6 hours and I’m going to switch to Tylenol today if I’m still feeling ok.
So happy with how it looks so far!

So the small bandages on your back are from the lipo? Do you think that was a lot to have at one time with the lift or not? What are your thoughts.
ORIGINAL POST
Mastopexy, Lipo, Renuvion
I knew this year I wanted to get some maintenance done on myself so I started looking around in about May. I had two different consultations and was going to do a third but after second one I was feeling very confident in Dr. Bruno. The customer service in his office has been outstanding. Any of the bad reviews I have read on here I assume that person is a major nut job or major attention whore because EVERY interaction with is office has been on point which is half the reason I choose him.
I have had two kids (7 & 10) and a mastopexy (when I was 20, my boobs were horrible tube socks and I was lacking major confidence because of it) and lipo (23). Both surgeries when I was younger were a major game changer and knew it was time to do another round.
I'm very athletic but still had those stubborn spots on my bra rolls and abdominal wall that drove me nuts and I can't loose them.
The other doctor I did a consultation with was nice enough but it felt very rushed. Also I wasn't a fan of the thought of being awake/twilight during the procedure. They had no follow up either.
Bruno offered some different things (galaflex, renuvion) which the other doctor didn't and after doing some homework I was very interested in it. He also sent me a way with signed card, book on choosing a surgeon, coffee thermos. I didn't choose him for the thermos obviously but I think it says a lot about a business when they put the extra touches in.
Surgery was yesterday. So here is just a chest shot and some before and after for now. I'll add as I go but from what I can tell of the boobs so far it's just what I wanted and can't wait to see how they settle!
Also the Illuma surgery center was excellent. Melody was very sweet. The CRNA called me the night before to touch base as well about anesthesia. My family has had a couple different procedures (elective and not elective) and never did anyone expect to see the doctor immediately after. So the person that complains about that I feel is overly needy and it made my eyes roll.
I did: Mastopexy (lift) with galaflex insert, lipo of flanks, bra roll, abs, renuvion on all lipo areas.
I'm 5-6, 140# before hand. He got approximately 1.8-2 liters of good yellow fat out of me and my breast tissue went down about 40 & 80 grams respectively.
I'm taking 1 hydrocodone every 3.5 hrs or so so far. First night was ok. I had quite a bit of leakage when I stood up. Extremely sore but all manageable. Bruno called me last night to check on me. We did a FaceTime appt this AM. I have a one week follow up scheduled.
My only constructive feedback so far is that I was I was in a body suit and not just a binder to help with swelling. But maybe there is a reason for that.
I'll add photos/ updates as I go!

This is so helpful! Looking forward to seeing your results as I am getting the same procedures in November. Trying to decide between doing just a lift or a small implant and lift. We have similar shape and build so I'm looking forward to seeing your after!
I somewhat understand why doctors would recommend an implant for that top fullness. However, when you have a decent amount of tissue, unless you want a fake breast look I don't get the point. That is just me. I just wanted my natural shape back but up higher. I was a full 34D before surgery. I will probably be a full 34C or small D which is fine with me.
What is renuvion?? I’m have a similar procedure and we are very similar body shapes.. can’t wait to have it done. Thanks for your post, I’ve been worried about how much pain I’ll be in after so it’s good to read your experience. When were you walking about ok? You’re results look great Thanks
Sorry. I didn't have notifications on. Renuvion is a skin tightener. It definitely did. I will say my sides by my ribs were super tight and I felt like I gently had to stretch them back out. But I feel like my stomach would have had more creping without it. I'm very happy with it.
Did you get implants or just lift??
Just lift. I am not a fan of implants. I had a D and now I'm a D-
For the record, I know two women who had lifts with implants when they had plenty of their own tissue. DO NOT DO IT. if someone is thinking they will get that fake tit high boob look when they have a lot of their own tissue they are dead wrong. My sister did it. I told her not to and now she's getting the implant out and another lift. She hates her chest. Too big and sag. So only three years later she's getting them redone. Waste of money.
