Wish I Would Have Done This Years Ago!
WORTH IT$10,000
If you would have asked me 10 years ago if I would ever consider elective, cosmetic surgery, I would have answered with a very quick "No." I’ve always been relatively happy with my body and take care of myself. However, after having two children, I quickly learned there were things about my body that I couldn’t change/get back to, no matter the amount of exercise or healthy eating I tried to sustain. Case in point, my breasts. They were large, heavy, droopy, and just uncomfortable. I’ve always been busty – but this was different. I went from having full bulb-shaped breasts to saggy bell-shaped breasts. After another agonizing summer in Phoenix of constant rashes, sweatiness, and again discomfort, I’d had enough. I consulted Dr. Weinrach at the suggestion of a friend that had received implants from him and was satisfied with the results. After my initial consultation and another to ask follow -up questions with my husband also present, he advised me that a lift was my best option. I had enough material to work with which didn’t necessitate implants, we just needed to move things back to where they had been before the ravages of pregnancy/breastfeeding.
I was hesitant to do anything due to costs, scarring, and downtime. I’m a mom of 2 kids, aged 6 and 9, and work full-time. There is no downtime in my life. Despite my hesitations, I proceeded forward.
I WISH I WOULD HAVE DONE THIS YEARS AGO! The downtime was relatively non-existent. Yes, I had restrictions related to lifting, pulling, and exercising in general. However, after the wooziness of anesthesia wore off, I was back to work and doing any necessary work/home tasks as I pretty much normally would two days after the procedure. I did not need to take any pain medication and I’m a total wuss when it comes to pain. The reality is that I didn’t have any pain. There was some general soreness, and the bruising was pretty incredible, but it wasn’t painful.
I’m now 8 weeks post-procedure and I could not be happier with my results. Due to the dense, lumpy texture of my breasts, in addition to the lift, Dr. W also did some liposuction to remove some of that dense, lumpy tissue. I went from a very saggy 36DD to a perky 34D. I feel like I’m back to my pre-pregnancy/children days. They feel and look amazing and I’ve lost no sensation in my nipples. I am ecstatic over my new, “sportier” breasts.
If you are at all considering doing something, I encourage you to do it now and not wait as I did. Both Dr. W and Jelena are so wonderful!
