Three years - never saw any difference in my breast or butt

ORIGINAL POST

Horrible Experience

Surgery was for a BBL and BBreast lift.
Originally went to see about an inner thigh lift. Dr Will said I would not like the scaring. He suggested BBL and Brest implants. I told him I didn’t want large breast so he suggested a Brazilian breast lift.
Day of surgery- (in his back office) I woke up in the middle of surgery, was sent home half cut up. Was told to come back the following day and he would have an actual Anesthesiologist present.
After the following day/surgery, I was sent home. Three days in, I started to get an infection in my left breast. Each visit Dr Will would give me some type of medication to apply to the infected area. It started to worsen. He first suggested stitching the area even though it was completely open leaving no skin to stitch!
He would call my pharmacy and prescribe different creams that only worsen the area.
Weeks went on, it was looking horrible! Fluid began pushing out of other areas of my breast.
After 3 months of on going visits to him and intense pain, bleeding, puss from the area, I myself told him I would like to see worn care specialist. He agreed without hesitation.
The doctor at worn care said to stop using all prescribed creams from Dr Will and gave me a medicated bandage to place on the opening.
Dr Will wanted a follow up. I told him I felt I should receive some type of reimbursement for all the time and prescriptions he prescribed.
Dr Will got very angry and said “this is not Malpractice!” I stated that I never said anything about malpractice. Dr Will then tried to offer me free filler and Botox. I told him I didn’t want anymore of his services.
Later that week I received in the mail a certified check from his own personal account (not the business) of 2500.00. Mind you, he charged me 18,500.00 for this procedure. It’s been three years from the date. I am still scared up and never saw any type of difference in my breast or butt.
Dr Will said after ny surgery he was unable to get much fat from me… shouldn’t this have been discussed prior???

Hun, you did your surgery with a dentist not a cosmetic surgeon

Glad I'm not the only one who had the same thought. That was the very first thing that came to mind as soon as I saw his credentials. Board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He is board certified in cosmetic also. However, I realize it was my own stupidity for not realizing so much more of what I know now. I wanted to share my story to try and help others.

Still very sorry this happened to anyone , painful, expensive and not getting results and maybe being worse off than before procedures...

I second what @jolie76 said... you should have never ever let any dentist or doctor touch you. Only board certified plastic surgeons with proof of credentials and previous clients. I am so sorry unfortunately you probably signed a ton of paperwork releasing him from any consequences

I know we live and learn. Everything seemed fine. I saw pictures of his work prior. He told me he did a ton of surgeries like this. Everything seemed legit. I knew it went bad when I woke up in surgery and was sent home to come back the following day.
At that point I was already semi cut open and had no clue what to do.

I can here to say the same.

Oops Came here. Also, sending you out of a sterile surgery without proper closing or instructions was most definitely not responsible. Why he would try this without an anesthesiologist is beyond comprehension. You need to report him to the medical board in your state.

I know, another plastic surgery said I should report this as well so it doesn’t happen to someone else

I am so, so sorry that this happened to you. I'm glad you spoke up, to warn others. You deserve support, and encouragement, and good advice - I mean, reliable advice that's good for YOU. I really hope you find support, report this to the appropriate medical body, and are able to get all - ALL- of your money back. You deserve nothing less.

Thank you, I was told by another plastic surgeon to report it to protect others
