So happy with my breasts...

Weeks Away from my Surgery...

I have been self-conscious about my chest size since I was a pre-teen. While everyone was developing their breasts, I was flat chested and often times teased. haha Fast forward to the present day, after two kids whom I breastfed, not only are my breasts small, but saggy, stretched out and just down right unattractive. When my five year old asked me, "Mommy, where are your chichis so long?" I wanted to cry lol I decided now that I am 40, and I am done having children the time had come for me to treat myself to a lift and implants. I couldn't be more excited! I am 5'5, 135", active and "athletic" and currently a 34 saggy B, my BWD is 13-14, my surgeon said this is just a guide, first he measured 14 then he said 13 or 13.5. He plans to use a smaller diameter implant, in the 12+ range to achieve a volume that he is dead set on not exceeding otherwise as he said my implants will be WAY to big. He asked me what size I want to be, and I didn't really know, so I said a C. I prefer not to chase a cup size and instead a beautiful result that fits ME and my frame. He is planning on having sizes 335 to 370 Sientra Silicone moderate and moderate plus implants in the OR on the day of surgery. I just wish I knew EXACTLY what the plan was, it just seems so up in the air and I don't exactly understand why. My surgeon is board certified and comes highly recommended by other girls I know who went to him for the same procedure so I am hoping with his experience he knows what he's doing and I should just trust the process. I still feel nervous!!!

Mixed emotions. Trying to manage my tendency to want to over think things. Questioning size. I had two previous surgeons cancel on me. Surgeries were paid for, dates set. The cancelled and refunded me all my money. My questions seemed to cause them to feel like they couldn’t make me happy. I believe one surgeon said you’re more “thoughtful and analytical” than most patients. I respect both their decisions. I have nothing bad to say about either of them. In the end I found the surgeon that was right for me. I am finally at peace with the procedure, with all my questions answered. Tomorrow morning at 7am my surgeon will be performing a mastopexy with augmentation using silicone implant. He uses the tailor tack method. Expecting to use 280cc to achieve a medium C cup. I’m so excited, I can’t believe it’s actually happening!!!!

So today I had my lift and aug. I was up all last night having bad dreams, worried and nervous. The staff made it easy to relax, especially the anesthesiologist, he was funny and personable, with his dry humor.
By the end, I opted to have Dr. Francis do his thing in the OR going up a little in size, leaving it up to him, whatever he felt was best. He told me I was going to need an anchor lift during pre-op but when I came out of surgery and was in recovery he said he was able to do the lollipop! That was a pleasant surprise.
My body feels beat up. My back, my arms, my neck, all achy. My body is Swollen from all the fluids. Pain is tolerable, controlled with Percocet and Flexeril. My PS also gave me Ativan to take at night to help me sleep and to manage anxiety. The nausea is real. Taking Zofran to help manage and cautious with what I eat. I have had two protein/fruit smoothies and raw almonds. Drinking lots of water too.
I go back tomorrow morning to remove the bandage wrapped around me. And he’ll replace with a sport bra. I’m excited to see my results… eventually! Too soon to judge

Can I ask what size you got in the end I love how yours look I’m three weeks away from
Mine and trying to decide on 315cc or 350cc . My skin isn’t great due to weight loss so I’m worried the 350 look saggy and worried the 315 are too small

I got a lift with the implant. Are you getting a lift?! I got 325 and 345. I let the surgeon do whatever he felt best to achieve a full C!!!!
June 24, 2021
Yes I’m getting a lift as I have severe sagging and very loose skin that I can literally pull . I think I’ll stick with the 315 seeing as you got such great results with 325 and 345 which would be close enough to 315. I’m just so worried that if I go with 350 my skin wouldn’t be strong enough to hold it and I’d only have sagging again . Im in a 32 C cup bra at the moment but I heard when they do a lift you lose some of your size so that’s why I asked him about bigger implants . I swear choosing a size is hardest thing I’ve ever done

I literally stressed so much over size and in the end I was so beat down over it I just let go and let him do whatever he thought was best lol it was so liberating. I recommend the same! Hahaha
I started with a saggy 34b. I'm 5'5 and 135lbs. Sounds like you're starting with more breast tissue that I started with so 315 would make sense... I thought the same thing. I didn't want a large implant since over time will contribute to sagging! When's your surgery?

I must enquire actually and see if I can let him make the decision because I would be much happier with that too but I’m not sure if they do that over here. Yeah he did say I had my own breast tissue because I taught it was all just loose skin but he said no I’ve breast tissue there too. I’m 5 foot 4 and 120lbs so we are very similar in stats . It’s 2 weeks away and I told him I’ll give him a week notice with the size but I’m going to call tomorrow and see if he can make the choice himself as I trust him to do that . He was set with an anchor lift but when I went for my second consultation he decided that a lollipop lift will do so I guess that’s good . Thanks for your help . Your results are amazing
