Tummy tuck, breast lift & silicone implants coming soon

WORTH IT$15,000
I had bariatric surgery in December 2015. I lost approx. 100 lbs. I'm left with saggy deflated boobs and my stomach looks & feels like udders when I bend over. I just had my pre-op clearance today with my family doctor. Next week, I meet with my surgeon to go over the details of my surgery, select the size implants I want and review post surgery instructions. I'm 51 years old, 5'7" and 175 lbs. The countdown is on.

Pre-surgical consult

Saggy67
Had my pre-surgical consult with Dr Grawe yesterday. I had my daughter go with me for moral support. Signed all my consents, went over all pre & post-op instructions with the nurse, paid my balance and tried on sizers to pick my implant sizes. You sign a consent for tummy tuck, breast lift, augmentation, size of implant and type of incision.
They tell you to start with the largest implant and work your way down. I brought an unlined bra with me in the size that I want to be after surgery to try on the sizers. I do not want to go so big that I can't shop for bras at VS anymore. The largest was 650cc which was absolutely huge. I decided 450 was too big and 350 felt right. My daughter took pictures of me with the different sizers. After I tried them on, I looked ar them all and it was hard to tell which pictures were which sizes, strangely enough. Knowing that most women wish they had gone bigger, I decided on 400cc. After making my choice, they told me that the implant mfg doesn't make 400cc anymore so I chose 415cc.
I'm staying at the "recovery house" for 3 days which is actually a local hotel where a nurse will take care of you. Once I get home, my neighbor has graciously offered to let me borrow her recliner in case I need it.
The countdown is officially ON!

The recovery house is a hotel suite right now. I know they just bought a house close to the office. So once that's ready, they won't need to use a hotel.

Surgery Day

Saggy67
I had my surgery yesterday. Arrived at the surgery center at 6:30am. My surgery was scheduled for 7:30am. Dr came in chatted a little & marked me up.
Nurse got my IV started. Put the leg wraps on to keep circulation in my legs during surgery.
They wheeled me back right on time. My husband said they called him to the consult room at 11:20am, so surgery took about 3 hours. Recovery was another couple of hours.
I had the anesthesia shakes. It took a while to pass. My nurse was an awesome older lady. She said during surgery, they gave me a couple doses of dilaudid. I was having some pain, probably 5 on a scale of 1-10. I got 1 oxymoron shortly after I woke up and that didn't kick it, so she gave me another one. The shakes had not subsided so she gave a me valium. During surgery, Dr Grawe injected long acting numbing medicine in my abdominal muscles. It lasts for 3 days.
I'm taking all my prescribed meds on scheduler and pain pills every 4 hours. I'm not in any pain. I'm just feeling stiff. I think I'll start feeling pain once the numbing wears off.
I only have one drain. I have to measure the fluid, write it down in a log, empty it and reattach it. I have an appointment on day 4. The drain comes out after at least 7 days and you have to have 30ml total in a 24 hour period for 3 days in a row. It doesn't bother me, so it's not a big deal.
I get to shower after 48 hours.
