Breast lift and augmentation to address the tubular shape

Breast lift and augmentation

I got my surgery mostly to address the tubular shape my breasts had. They were too far a part and a little saggy which made my cleavage look a little odd and made me look a little flat chested when I actually do have a decent amount of tissue on the side of my boobs. I talked to several surgeons over the course of months and decided to get them done with Dr Luis Humberto Uribe Morelli while I was visiting my family in Colombia. I feel he listened to all my points during the consultation and offered me the best solution for my case. Even though I wanted to avoid scars I realized that having an inverted T breast lift would help reshape my breast without putting to much strain on my areola like a peri-areolar lift would and would also allow me to have a good under boob ( Dr Uribe said he tried putting only the implant in one boob but the areola was positioned too low). I also got 230 cc to help give a rounder shape and more fullness. My left boob was bigger than the right one, so he transferred some breast tissue so he could do an equal amount of cc in both. And he also did an internal bra which are basically sutures that make sure that the implants are more fixated on where they are positioned and slows down sagging as I age. Right after my surgery I had a very kind and helpful nurse assist me for the first 24 hours (this was an extra cost of around ~65 USD).She accompanied me to my first post-op appointment with another nurse. The nurse sent pics to the Dr who was traveling but said they were healing well and I would meet with Dr Uribe the following weekend. So far, I am feeling well with some minor pain and pressure. I am excited to see what they will look like throughout the next days and weeks and will definitely keep updating.

No you're totally ok. I was hoping you didn't think it was rude or creepy lol. I just wanted to see the best results possible because I'm thinking from what I can see we have very similar before pics and I really want to get the surgery (lift) but I'm so apprehensive because of all the terrible work I have seen/the downtime.

Sure no problem! If you look at my "doctor questions" you can see more pics from different angles as well as different opinions for my case.

Second post-Op appointment

Katara345
I went to my second post-op appointment yesterday and was assisted by the same nurse from last time. She said that Dr Uribe would see me next week since he’s currently out of town. My scars are already dry and it looks like the healing is going well. She took off most of the bandages and only left thin ones covering the scars. This is the first time I got to see the shape of my breasts after surgery and I am generally pleased because they are definitely better than before but still have some concerns. I know that they are very swollen and high up because it is still pretty early but hope they will drop and have a more ideal shape later on. My main concern is that my areolas are positioned too low which I did address yesterday with the nurse and the doctor but they said they will eventually have a higher position with time. Another thing that I worry about is the shape of my left breast. This breast was originally bigger, saggier and would point towards my side (I have a better picture of how they were attached). I feel the left breast also had an infra-mammary fold that was higher than the right breast. Yesterday I noticed that my left breast still kept a bit of that weird shape that looks like it’s being pulled out and toward the left and I feel the infra mammary fold is still a bit higher than the right breast. I’m not sure if this is because I had a bigger inverted t scar in this breast ( this was something Dr Uribe mentioned would affect the shape of the breast and make it look like a square early on) or the fact that I have a “pigeon chest”, which means that my chest walls aren’t flat, but that they’re positioned at an angle, which Dr Uribe also addressed. Any ways, I’m meeting with Dr Uribe next week and will definitely bring up these concerns to him.

I see what you mean. But I know implants eventually drop and fluff so your nips should be in a better position once that happens. It looks good though! I've been heavily considering this doctor for a BBL

Thanks! Yea that's what I keep hearing. I honestly do feel my areolas get a little better positioned as days go by

Scheduling first post-op appointment

Katara345
It’s been more than 20 days since my surgery and I’m very disappointed about not having met with my PS yet. I was supposed to see him a week post-op but it seems like he’s been dragging this appointment because he’s staying in his hometown, Cúcuta where he permanently lives. It was my understanding prior to surgery that he is constantly traveling every week but to me it just looks like he travels when he feels like it since I asked one of the assistants during my last visit and she mentioned there might be covid flight issues and that his wife is also pregnant. She did not give me a clear reason, so I reached out to him on Instagram and he said he had Covid and will be coming to bogota tomorrow. It’s hard to believe that excuse when the nurse who is in constant contact with him didn’t say anything about that but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. Anyways, I then try to schedule a time for the appointment through his assistant by giving some times that work for me since I have no idea what his schedule looks like. she replied to my time suggestions by throwing a monologue at me of how “the patient has to abide by the doctor’s time availability” and how I signed a document agreeing to that. I honestly felt that was a pretty aggressive thing to say since I was just inquiring and tbh at this point it’s pretty clear to me my time doesn’t matter after waiting for +20 days and only being provided an hour and a half window to see the doctor before he leaves for another two weeks. For anyone who is trying to have a surgery with Dr Uribe I strongly advise to go to his hometown Cúcuta cause he will not give you the care you deserve in Bogota.
