Best surgeon and results! Abdominal Lipo and BAM

I will be 49 in February and have always worked out to maintain my body. I run, do yoga, moderate weights. After the birth of my twins via c-section my breasts lost their happy perk and I got diastases which left me with a “pooch” that no amount of running or sit ups would fix.
As my gift to myself I decided to go for a consult. I met with 6 surgeons and kept coming back to Dr. Brown. Not only did I connect with his staff, I loved that part of his practice was cancer patients and fixing other doctors botched work.
We decided on a reduction, lift with implants.

Wanted to share my experience so far!
Surgery was Monday last week and scheduled at 12:30 but Dr. Brown was done early and took me in at 11:30!
I was scheduled for 4 hours for my reduction/lift/implant and abdominal liposuction.
He came in with my 4 wish pics and told me he would bring in different sizes to get my desired look.
Got happy medicine, woke up in recovery thirsty as hell but in no pain!
Went home and slept. My amazing hubby set his alarm for every 4 hours to wake me for pain pills, antibiotics, and stool softener. He stocked my beside water with a straw, crackers and meds.
We used a wedge pillow and piled more around me to keep my arms propped up.
Second day I was too scared to take off bra top but they looked great even then!
My stomach felt like I’d been in a punching match. I needed help getting in and out of bed and adjusting myself. Hubby was smart and had added a height seat with arm handles to toilet which was a godsend!

So I didn’t have to wear the ugly surgery bra! Dr Brown had me go buy cheap front close soft no underwire sports bras in 3 sizes. I went to Walmart and the Avia brand is so perfect and cute too!
I’ve been taking Arnica tabs since 3 days prior to surgery and I have minimal bruising.
Staying of top of pain meds so important. I still need one in the evening and if I get spasms I’ll take a Valium. I’m feeling absolutely amazing though!!!
No longer using my arms like a T-Rex.
I have a little redness I’m watching to make sure no infection.
