If You Are from the US and Safety is a Concern, Choose Ulerio!

If you are from the United States and you are nervous about choosing a doctor in DR because of safety, Dr Ulerio is the right choice for you. This is my second surgery with him and both times not only have I felt safe, but his work also speaks for itself. His team is very responsive throughout the process and even if you don’t speak Spanish they do a great job at translating everything. He prioritizes making sure you are healthy before the surgery, (he will not touch you otherwise, because he is not a money grab doctor) he offers recovery house recommendations and is very detailed with his post care requirements. He may be a little pricier than other surgeons in DR but trust me you get what you pay for and it is not as expensive as the States. Being in a recovery house shows you how there are doctors that only care about money and not the safety of the patient at all. Think of it like this, if you could afford that expensive Beverly Hills doctor it would be him. He takes pride in trying to make his patients look as natural as possible so if you are looking for an exaggerated look he is probably not the doctor for you. While natural looking is his baseline he goes over all options because he wants you to be educated on the surgery but also wants you to be satisfied with the results as well. I did my tummy tuck with lipo back in 2023 with him and I love how my scar and belly button have healed. He was happy seeing it too when I returned for a breast lift with implants and although he recommended no implants, (and will do so if he knows you are a good candidate for it because again he wants his patients to be as natural as possible) I still chose implants because I wanted a little more volume than what I would have gotten without them. I am satisfied with both my experience and my results. He gave me detailed instructions for going back to the States and remains close to the post op healing journey as he wants to make sure despite going back home that everything turns out ok. He is very responsive for any questions you may have and overall he is a great doctor. For ladies worried about having a male doctor, he does not give off any creep vibes at all, all of his medical team under him are women and while they don’t have the best English, they are the sweetest people who also go out of their way to make sure one you are comfortable and two you have the best results as well. He is popular with the locals and even elderly women have gone to him for their surgeries which is always a good sign because these surgeries can be hard on the body to recover from as you are older. Overall he is a good choice no matter the surgery you are looking to get done. I am glad I returned to him.
