I had two procedures. The first went well. The second…not so much. I realize plastic surgeons cannot guarantee results but my main issue with Dr. hanabergh is that he was not there for me post-op and I had a significant issue. He actually sent his receptionist to meet me at the office to see me. Really?? I later found out he took days off because his wife had a planned, scheduled c-section. He should’ve told me about that and given me the opportunity to decide if I wanted to reschedule or not. Not only was he not available but he didn’t have another physician covering for him. The fact that I had a problem on my very first post op day and the fact that he just stopped returning my calls had led me to seek legal counsel. My left breast is STILL hurting and it’s totally deformed. I have only a small section of areola and the nipple is a mess! To say he’s breached the standard of care and ignored his post op responsibility to me is an understatement. Be careful where u go!!

Thank you for your review. We do our very best to provide quality patient care. The receptionist you mention above is not just a receptionist, but a licensed Medical Assistant. The time of this particular procedure in question would have been done before a holiday seeing that he did not know the exact day of the birth of his child at that time. He did, however, take 3 personal days at that time and was sure to keep the lines of communication open and available via the office App, phone calls and text messages. In office and/or virtual follow up visits are also necessary to continue care with our patients.
