Dr. Grawe, Powell, OH: Horrible Surgeon!

$8,000
See my photos of Dr. Grawe’s work. You can judge for yourself if you like or dislike her work. She performed a lollipop lift and augmentation in January 2015 for $8000. I welcome comments and opinions of her work based on my photos. I asked her for help and she wanted me to pay her an additional $6000 for her surgical errors.

Poor surgery technique, Dr. K. Grawe, Powell, Ohio

I had a breast lift/aug. January 2015 done by Dr. Grawe.
Dr. Grawe is a lovely person and I'm only criticizing her surgery skills. I thought she understood that having my breasts lifted" was my priority. Unfortunately, for me, the lift and aug came out terrible. They were not lifted after surgery. The implant pockets she made were too large on both sides. The implants migrated out into my arm pits. I had severe malposition. She was supposed to make the aerola smaller, yet somehow they looked larger. I met with her to see what could be done. She sent Taylor in to hand me a $6000 bill to fix her mistakes. I had already paid her $8000. I have no respect for how she handled my situation. I can only hope that she has gotten more education on breasts lifts and augmentations since then. It's not fair what happened to me. She did not stand by her work and handled my situation poorly. I hope that she treats her patients better now and hopefully she has improved her technique. I guess I was her practice toy, at my expense. I did not pay her for a revision. I didn't have confidence in her, that she could resolve the issues she created. I have pictures up on my questions to doctors page.

Sue her

Is suing really even possible in this case? I had assumed doctors had all kinds of insurance and attorneys backing them. If it’s a true possibility of suing her, I will! Does anyone have experience in this matter?

I personally filed a complaint to the medical board of Ohio. She messed up my life and killed my career. If she gets more complaints they will pursue further actions for misconduct. I suggest you do so. Us ladies who have surgery have everything to lose when things goes south and Doctors like Grawe have everything to gain. Like money and practice. Just file it online and if you don’t have the medical records they will get them for you. Hope you feel Better.

I honestly think your breast look good, they are nice and round and firm looking. You look like you would of had a better result from a full anchor lift vs just the lollipop lift, but I still think they look very nice. Your breast are naturally spread apart so having implants added is still going to make them go outward just more fuller.
But seriously....I think they look great, and your scars look like they are going to heal nicely.
