Night before in hotel room

So yesterday after a delay I got my breasts final check over all good and as it should be. Still in wound healing stage but that’s normal. Really
Happy it’s a shame dr Oez is leaving the clinic as due to corona virus there is a huge backlog of NHS work for him.

Hoo they recruit a facial surgeon for rhinoplasty soon as I’ll be back!

Boobs are looking much less wonky- I really need to trust the process. Saw a different nurse today for my dressing change and I much prefer this type of dressing feels much less Rigid and itchy. Left breast was a little bleeding and exude- she wasn’t worried but out an iodine pad under to stop any problems before they occur. She said the stitching looked amazing and it was the neatest she has seen. She was really kind and I am going for a check up in 4 days to make sure it’s ok. I really hope it is as I can’t cope with any problems. Everyone needs me at home and I don’t get much rest. Sleeping flat now and able to lie angled slightly to the side. Bit of cleavage appears when o wee the bra. Fed up of surgical bra I feel the under band is cutting my ribs. Pain on and off but paracetamol cures it. Sneezing feels so odd it like tightens them. Still having to wear the awful band. Can’t wait to have dressings off completely by also scared to see the scars. I have avoided looking too much despite being offered looks in the mirror.

I had my first set dressings removed yesterday, was ok not too sore but I felt really worried. Left nipple bled a little nurse said it was normal. Took the big blue stuff off I now have just surgical tape - still keeping them dry despite given ok to shower as it’s scaring me that it will sting or that the dressing will fall off.

Swelling feels much better today, I have done the bra up to the tightest me it feels all good- was on loosest setting day 2/3/4 and was still digging in and hurting so this is good progress. Still sleeping in the chair but later back a lot more. No more painkillers all, nothing strong anyway. Had arnica :) will update in a bit as not much to say definitely not enough to do day by day :) very happy
