Worst Decision of my Life (Necrosis Doctor)

I hope this review helps save someone from getting necrosis. I had surgery with doctor Ary Krau on 8/21/2023 for a breast lift with implant. This was my first surgery and I was excited because I thought doctor Krau was the best breast doctor in Miami. I met him pre-op to go over my procedure and concerns. During pre-op, I asked him about my chances of getting necrosis and he said I had less than a 1% percent chance because my breast were not that low. At the time, I felt I was in good hands. I had my surgery on 8/21 and my follow up visit the next day. During my follow up visit, my sister noticed my right nipple was darker than the other one and ask Victoria the physician assistant if that was normal and she responded that "it was normal." Since she's the expert we took her word for it and left. I returned a week later to remove my drains. During this visit, when the nurse removed my gauze, a small piece of my areola came off. When the nurse informed Victoria about this, Victoria said it was just blister like the ones you get behind your foot. Victoria then called in Dr. Krau to come to take a look at it. Doctor Krau also said it was a "simple blister and that I would probably need a tattoo" and left quickly. At the time, I was so in shock that I couldn't say anything. Victoria said this only happens to smokers. I told her I don't smoke, I have never smoked a day in my life. Doctor Krau recommend nitrobid oitment, hyperbaric treatment and to follow up with them on Klara. I asked them if I would be able to find hyperbaric treatments in NY. Victoria said "I shouldn't have a problem because there are tons of them in NY, just google it." I did as they told me and I applied nitrobid daily, I got hyperbaric treatment in Florida the same day I found out at Restore Hyper Wellness and I followed up on Klara. After a few treatments, I noticed I wasn't getting better so I went to the ER and was told I had necrosis.
During our time in Florida, my sister came across a girl from Miami, who warned her about doctor Krau, but at the time we didn't believe it because there were so many good reviews here. She told her to follow doctor Krau dolls Facebook group. Unfortunately, we didn't start following until after all this occurred. On the FB page you will see he gets at least one or more case of necrosis monthly. This group suggested to see a wound specialist. By the time I saw a wound care specialist, I had two weeks post op and he explained I needed medical graded hyperbaric treatment the first two weeks. He said the hyperbaric treatments available in Restore hyper wellness was not medical graded.
I completely lost my nipple due to their misdiagnosis and negligence. This could have been prevented if the doctor had seen me post op or if Victoria would have told me I had necrosis and to get hyperbaric treatments on day two post-op. They have seen enough case of necrosis to know one when they see one. Instead they down played the whole situation and did not give me proper guidance on how to manage all of this afterwards.
I hope this post can help someone. If you are considering having surgery with Krau, please consider that he does not carry medical malpractice insurance. If you have been a victim of this too, please report it to Florida's health department. Breast lift with implant is a common surgery nowadays and we don't hear necrosis being a common thing that is happening to woman with other surgeons. Doctor Krau and Victoria are both negligent and they do not care for their patients. I never heard back from them again after I confronted them and told them what I had was necrosis.
