Winter of 24 I started looking for a new plastic surgeon to fix the mess my previous plastic surgeon left me with.
1 year and 2 surgeries on both my breasts and tummy tuck I was done with him! He continued to gaslight me telling me results were beautiful to go home and enjoy them he was sure my husband just loved big breasts! I had photo documentation from day 1 through 9 months that showed exactly where everything went wrong and how badly they looked. I left his office so defeated and ashamed it was hard for me to even look at myself naked.
January of 25 I was determined to find a new ps.
I found a fb page called Bustmob. I posted a lot of questions to anyone with experience with plastic surgeons in stl.. Dr Fredman here in St. Louis was continually mentioned.
Mostly moderators replied just to assure me he was the best and I couldn’t go wrong with him.
Not many women had had revisions most were 1 st time Breast augmentations. Those that did reply I reached out privately to get more information if they were willing to chat. I found that most were recent patients and had a few issues. (Only months later others would share serious complications they were experiencing) . Many were hesitant to express anything negative about him other than they were more than anxious to see him before that 6 mo timeline.
After the new year due to all the positive reviews on Bustmob I went on the website and booked my $500 consultation that would be applied to my services or refunded at 2 weeks should I decide not to go with him. One closing factor that sealed the deal for me was the fact he offered an 18 month revision for $1250
should anything go wrong and need a revision all expenses would be pd. That was huge since I had just financed 24xxx 12 mo ago for a mommy makeover. I was looking at another 20xxx with him.
When I met him, I already knew what I needed to do after spending hundreds of hours watching every YouTube & IG video every RealSelf post I could find!
He agreed I needed to go under the muscle, change implants and do pocket repair with a breast lift. I was seriously concerned about the amount of loose skin & damage I had from the current implants. Not to mention the fact I breast feed 5 children and had recently lost 70 lbs over the last 3 years. I literally had 10% breast tissue left I went from dense tissue to non dense.
He was aware of the 2 surgeries I had just 1 year prior and was convinced he could fix me.
I asked him about adding Galaflex to support the implant and support what little breast tissue I had. He quickly shot me down and said I had good skin quality and plenty of tissue.
On 3 occasions prior to surgery I sent emails to his office manager questioning again and again the use of Galaflex. He called me 2 x to express his opinion on Galaflex and even went as far as stating he would only charge me 1400$ the cost of the Galaflex if we needed to go back in that originally would cost $5000. But this was not his concern. I emailed him shortly after that call and asked to put it writing he would only charge $1400 for Galaflex his secretary replied back we aren’t going to preemptively assume you need it he will call you.
One week before surgery I sent one last email stating I would be willing to give him the $1400 cash and he could just pocket the $ just add Galaflex I wouldn’t tell a soul! I was clearly desperate and well informed what I needed. He again declined ..
Funny enough When I booked my original appt I was sent a welcome email to a fb page called Bustmob go figure and the ap that you could research other women’s results sizes ect.
There were several plastic surgeons listed but they all seemed to be with the Amelia group Fredman was part of.
I didn’t think much about it I was busy watching every YouTube video and IG post I could find on revisions. So when I went in for my surgery with Fredman I knew just what to expect.
Day of surgery I was of course super nervous. The minute I walked in the door I was greeted by a nurse and my husband was excused at the door, offered to stay in a waiting room or go home. That was super stressful. I assumed because he had his own surgery center we would have more personalized care.. that was not the case. I felt like cattle. It was less than pleasant to say the least. After surgery I was I was quickly ushered into my car still asleep and drugged enough to get home walk in the door in the worst pain I’ve ever been in. I was literally googling how many oxy I could take and messaging my own dr and the nurse line for pain control.
At 9pm long after I was asleep Fredman called left a message , from that point I never heard back from anyone from the office. It was 1 week at my ck in I was seeing his nurse &@6 weeks .
It literally took 6 weeks with many pain meds to relieve the intense pain.
By 10 weeks I was noticing some crazy abnormality’s. Being the photographer I am I was of course documenting every week to the day and posting them on the Bustmob page. Over and over the moderators would chime in.. just wait for your 6 months everything will change.. every week I would post a new image and women other than the moderators would comment their own opinion and concerns.. I started getting private messages from several women who were experiencing similar issues. Some simple others extreme. Many are at a loss like me..
During this time I was invited to a support fb group addressing Fredman specifically since it was his patients that were in the group of 5. I posted the same post I had previously posted on Bustmob verbatim as did another with her botched results Within days we were all banned from Bustmob. They claim we started a hate group. Of course I told Fredman at my 6 mo appt he just shrugged it off.. I latter learned Amelia owns Bustmob and that would explain why many of my posts that specifically named Fredman would never be approved.. as well why they aways commented with nothing but positive feedback. I looked for months for anything negative and could never find a thing.. nothing is allowed but positive reviews on Bustmob about Amelia. It’s part of their scam that makes you believe he’s / they are super surgeons. They draw you in and pump up their surgeons to get you to book with them. Then when there is less that favorable results you are blocked and none of your posts ever get approved.
By my 6 mo appt I had documented hundreds of images and had continually sent them to the Dropbox for Fredman to see. Over and over I was brushed off just wait till 6 months things will change. It actually only got worse! My implants were flipping, the pockets were stretched out again the revisions failed at every point . I clearly needed at least 2 in more of skin removed from the bottom. And I needed the left inframammary fold raised becaue it was two inches lower than the right! This time completing the anchor lift in addition to the lollipop lift he did at first now Also removing the 2 in vertical scar he left behind on both sides that would of been avoided with a anchor lift in the first place . Of course I desperately needed Galaflex with pocket repair again because they were both falling into my armpits which he “now agreed to” .
although he refused to do surgery any time soon. I literally had to wait until the week of Christmas a full 9 months after my original surgery. He actually wanted to wait until 12 months even though he admitted they would not fix themselves and only get worse.
Instead of him charging me the $1400 he promised me on the phone 9 mo earlier should we be here again I was charged $1900!
For a less quality mesh not Galaflex. He failed to mention he wouldn’t be using Galaflex which he advertises for only! I again only found out when I requested my surgery notes from both surgery’s.
When I brought it up to him at my 6 mo appointment he stated he doesn’t use Galaflex because he doesn’t get good results from it.
“He stopped using it years ago” .. yet all the women I’ve talked to he used it on them! When you ask Brittany his secretary about what kind he uses it’s Galaflex! Even his IG posts he’s talking about Galaflex only!
( Dec 2025) My next surgery was pretty much the same routine PREop only this time Friedman was present to go over the treatment contract due to my previous surgery. I had to call to ask to for a copy of the paperwork I was asked to sign on the tablet minutes before surgery at the peek of my stress.. I was literally sobbing with fear and anxiety at that moment in time sitting alone with no support. Afterwards
Same protocol I was ushered into my car asleep drugged got home this time prepared for what was next. Thank God the pain was way easier.
I met the nurse @ 6 days and 6 weeks then Fredman @6mo. This time I didn’t send 1 picture even though I continued to document my progress. By 4 months I began noticing once again the same serious issues only slightly different .. my left implant was being pushed down because the muscle wasn’t opened enough, my right side was raised so high I can’t wear a tank top or anything that shows my chest. The muscle retracts so high it draws the implant up with it anytime I use my peck muscle( window shading) . When I lay down it then falls into my armpit. In addition my nipples are at least 1 in off horizontally. All of these concerns I raised with him at my 6 mo visit. (June 2026)
The evening before my 6 mo appt I sent him a letter of concern with images attached. Brittany his secretary confirmed she would forward him the email.
When I showed him personally all the issues he became irritated and told me I got great results. There was nothing more he could do for me.. I was so upset but calm and composed..I told him I would have had more respect if he would have told me my case was to complicated in the 1st place. But he convinced me he was capable and experienced to fix it. I asked him if it was just he wasn’t qualified to fix these issues and he said perhaps.. at that point I told him I would be asking for my money back so that I could find a more qualified surgeon that I could not live this way! he shook his head yes in agreement. Then he replied I will send them your surgery notes, I suggest you get several consults and wait at least 6 months. I was already @ 6 months!
I mentioned my 18mo revision contract that would end this September and his reply was you can come back in 6 months this dec but I’ll tell you the same thing.. at that point my husband and I walked out and I said I would be in touch..
(July 26) a few days ago I posted in a fb page not affiliated with Bustmob in reference to a question “ has anyone ever sued their plastic surgeon “ I said I was looking into a class action. The next day my entire fb and IG personal & business accounts were disabled. Im unable to recover them the link is broken or locked..I started a new account and in 10 mn it was banned it took 24 hours to be reactivated.
I’ve contacted several plastic surgeons my revision
Quotes are 28xxx to 38xxx
I will need complete revision as if I never had one to begin with.
July 10th I sent him a certified letter & email of demand for refund and his reply was no, fired me as a patient and said his lawyer would be in contact, that I would need to sign the hippa release for the new surgeon.
