It’s taken me more than 20 years to finally move forward with getting a lift and implants!
Hubby wasn’t on board with this until just recently, but now he finally understands that this is all for me!
After breastfeeding 3 babies, I have nothing left but skin.
Before the kiddos, I have a full C cup. After years of weight gain and loss with pregnancy and nursing, I have the skin of a full DD with the filling of an A????

Decided on Dr. Michael McNeel at Marietta Plastic Surgery

My consult with Dr. McNeel was very informative! My husband came along with me as he has for all my previous consults. He had a lot of his own questions regarding my surgery.
After measurements were taken, and we discussed what I had to work with. Obviously, I have A LOT of excess skin. I also do not have much breast tissue. 3 pregnancies and nursing all the babies left me with a full D or DD cup worth of skin. Believe it or not, I had a nice C cup when I got married. Now I basically have an A cup worth of filling.
In the last 8 years I have become quite active and so I believe that I have just burned up the remaining body fat including my boobies!
My stats:
52 Years Old
5'6"
120 pounds
Dr. McNeel anticipated removing about 50cc of skin from each breast. I had requested 300 cc implants and he felt like I should go with 350. I guess by the time you remove the skin and then place the implant under the muscle, that will take it down quite a bit. Planning on using the Inspira implant.
I've read that you lose 20% from going under the muscle. That means I lose 70cc plus the 50cc worth of skin.
Concerned about all the excess skin around my torso and even on top of my chest. So I told him to be aggressive with the skin removal! He will do a lollipop lift and then I will also have a small incision in the crease to keep the skin from buckling below.

Sounds like a good plan! I think an imframmary crease is good idea. I also had the anchor incision. It not only prevents buckling but it gives the breast a nice rounder shape and distributing the stress on the incisions throughout the breast... putting less stress on the vertical and the areola incisions. A lot of women trade off having nicely shaped breasts for a vertical incision only. I’m not sure why since the anchor incision is hidden under the fold. I look forward to hearing more.… :-)

One week to go!
ItsawonderfullifeDecember 21, 2017
Thank you to all my real self friends for helping me to be prepared for my surgery next week!
Prescriptions are filled, a list of last minute foods to buy I waiting, comfy sports bra bought!
Both sets of parents are in the loop and 2 of my 3 kids know.
Just as everyone else, I’m concerned about size! I went in asking for 300 but he said he felt that 350 would be a better fit (and I’m assuming that means to fill my skin).
Hoping to not be too distracted with the surgery so I can enjoy celebrating Christmas!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

I am soooo excited for you. Sending positive vibes your way.
I've taken some notes on many of the suggestions you've made, so thank you for your wealth of knowledge!!
I'm getting ready to post some other details on my surgery that is scheduled for 12/28. I think I will be getting Inspira implants and my doctor thinks he will use 350. I went in asking for 300 but he said that he will be removing so much skin at this point and that a little bit of a larger implant will help to fill some of it up!
Anyway, I will save that for my next post.
Thanks for asking!
