How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Hard to sleep last night. Mostly back pain from laying so much and maybe the epidural. Feeling much better after a shower and compression bra. Almost completely pain free.
So I did it!
I arrived Nov 17 and found my rep waiting to pick mr up at the airport. So friendly I felt right at ease.
We checked in our hotel ( Smart Cancun Oasis) and my assistant picked me up for 6:00pm blood work dropping me back off to the hotel. Everything is very close and done within 15 min.
The next day I was again picked up to meet the cardiologist for my EKG ( they take no chances with your health) all was perfect for me so off for my consult with Dr EdgarTorres.
My husband came with me and was involved in the entire consult as was my assistant in order to have perfect translation. Dr Torres is a perfectionist and will first recommend what procedure will give you the best realistic results “not to ruin my work” he says : always asking if I understand or have any questions.
He actually manipulated the breast to show my husband and myself an approximate result.
I also decided to do upper and lower eye lift as well with his recommendation which was only $1000
more.
Total costs so far breast lift with implants, upper lower eye lift, under $5000
Then we made payment. I had 2 days to enjoy Cancun prior to my surgery.
Day of surgery I was a bit nervous but the whole team was very reassuring every step of h way and you are treated like the only priority. I loved the fact they do not use anesthesia as this can be a danger in any surgery. They use epidural with heavy sedation ( the anesthesiologist was vey professional, spoke good English and eased my worries immediately)
I woke up feeling rested, not crappy like all other surgeries I’ve had and I also had NO PAIN! None!
I was kept in hospital over night so they could in their words “pamper you” and they did. I was always
The hospital was minimal but cleaner than any in Canada, making me wonder why so many taxpayer dollars are spent on bells and whistles instead of staff! I was given a delicious healthy breakfast.
My nurse stayed with me all night and brought mr to my hotel around 11am coming up to my room to explain my meds in great detail. You are put on heavy doses of antibiotics from the day of surgery to ward of any chance of infection before it has an opportunity to start.
As I write this it has been 24 hours since surgery and I notice my compression bandage has come a little loose. I texted my nurse and she will be coming in an hour to change it. CAN YOU GET THAT IN CANADA? Noooooo!
My Medical Vacations took lol the worry and concern off me. Although I am having a little more pain tonight it I far les than expected. I could not be happier so far. I will keep you posted with pics later.

My Medical Vacations in Cancun
I am booked with Dr Torres through My Medical Vacations for November 20 for a breast lift and implants.
I did a lot of research many many email with their coordinator and also a Skype with Dr. Torres before I became confident that I was choosing the best route to take. The cost is a fraction of what I was quoted here in BC. I was also given phone numbers to contact past patients. I was reassured by them that I will be in great hands but of course I am still nervous about possible complications with surgery anywhere. I am 50 in good health generally 5’2 160lbs.
There are not many reviews on here so I thought I will share my experience for others. More to follow as the dates approach closer.
