Loving my boobs!

Boobs looking better everyday. I’ll post more pics soon but trying not to do too much and phone has not been a priority lately. I’m taking down my day after op pic and will re pos later bc I don’t wanna s are anyone from doing this until they can see final results. That first pic is scary looking especially bc I don’t have tape and honestly if I had tape to covers the suture sites I would look “so good”. My swelling is minimal and my surgeon is amazing. That first pic would have an amateur or person just generally unfamiliar w the post op process thinking he butchered me.
As far as how I’m feeling:
Took Valium and norco first two days and then just Tylenol after that during the day as needed which wasn’t much. Took norco and Valium when I went to sleep every night since. I’ve slept amazing. Zero problems w being comfortable at night etc. I wake up feeling rested and amazing no morning boob. I do minimal stuff at home just like the dr ordered. Post op has been great. Had a little fatigue today and got weepy. All part of the process. The moment passed. Had nothing to do w how my boobs look or feel. Just the whole being dependent on others thing that I’m not used to.

I forgot to add some info and also unable to add pics from today

I will say there is a difference just from yesterday to today. Already looking better. I’ll add pics when I can but unable to do so right now.
I’ve been comfortable sleeping upright so far and will continue to sleep and rest that way for as long as it’s comfortable. I have a second follow up appointment on Tuesday.
We removed the scop patch today. I haven’t had norco today or Valium. I took Tylenol once today. Last prescription drugs were last night so I could rest well.

2 days post op

Got up once to pee last night. My hubby has been helping me w that as it is uncomfortable to reach and wipe. Not sure if I sold be trying to do that on my own or not. I’m hesitant to do it since my incisions are not taped I’m a lot more gentle as to not rip my sutures. I let him pull my pants up and down.
I did have a shower last night. I covered my breast’s w a hand towel and followed nurse sheilas instruction to let the water hit my back and only wash my body while avoiding the soap and water to hit my breasts directly. Hubby washed me w cloth and dial soap.
I’ve been drinking lots of water. Everything through a straw so I won’t have to lift my cups etc. I’m way less tired than the day of the procedure.
I feel great walking around but do like to nap or just rest afterward.
Can’t wait to do my hair and makeup and feel pretty again (in the face). My boobs look freak but I’ve followed lots of real selfers and know this is pet of the process. I can tell my outcome is gonna be amazing.

Overall rating

Dr. Kouris and nurse Sheila were amazing. The day of surgery was yesterday. Dr. Kouris came in before surgery to mark me up and he really put me ease. I knew I was in good hands all along as they were constantly reassuring me. Dr. Kouris strikes me as the type of surgeon who wants to do right by his patients, never pushing additional products or procedures. I like his conservative approach and he is more interested in the giving the best possible long term results than just letting the patents dictate what he ought to do. Some surgeons will jus take your money and give you what you want. That’s definitely not his approach. He’s a highly skilled surgeon and let me know right away he wouldn’t want to give me huge implants. He explained his reasons and I was totally on board. I consulted w a different doctor who suggested much bigger implants and even having additional procedures 4 days apart. Huge red flags for me as that isn’t the best course of action as wold make for a challenging recovery. Dr. Kouris gave me all there time I needed to make a decision and even offered additional consults. It took me looking around to appreciate his approach. Everything went way better than expected. Day of surgery I was in my pre op room where I met all of the staff that would be working w me. This includes a nurse who took vital and Hooke up my IV painlessly, Dr. Kouris, nurse Sheila, Dr. Kosik, the anesthesiologist, the scrub nurse and the anesthesiology nurse. They wheeled me to surgery and I don’t remember a single thing until I wanna back in my recovery suite. They kept my pin under control and I was NEVER nauseous! Which is huge. I get nauseous just from riding in the car. So I’m amazed at how good I felt. All in all 5 star experience. If I ever need additional work Dr. Kouris is the first person I’d call.
