WORTH IT
Tried on a dress on day 2. Loved it.
Starting to bruise on day 4/5.
My dip/indent is smoothing out. My left breast has the bigger and more noticeable dip. My right boob is actually nicely forming but the tape is still on so I can’t see the full shape. But I like how it’s smoothing out.

I am going to be very patient on these indents because I know my body is healing and this could take many months to form correctly. He did this to prevent giving me the anchor scar, I am honestly thankful. He also pulled that loose skin under my breast which actually shaped me in a way. It’s nice to see my body curvier and less loose skin. I love his idea. I just hope my breast look good after it’s healed.

Update on indent on breasts

Dr. Joe pulled my loose skin into my breasts. Both have an indent/dip from areola he said it will smooth out. I have an appointment with him on 6/4 and I am going to get more detail on it. When he discussed it with me I was on pain meds and simply don’t remember exactly what he said. They have definitely changed a lot from day one. But I’d like to know how long it’ll take and what the final outcome might look like. I’ve attached some pictures.

I’d suggest taking 2 weeks of work.

I am one week post-op. Here’s what I can share:

0-3 days I needed assistance getting up. I NEEDED help when I was laying on my back upright (90 degree angle). I needed pain meds until day 4. I experienced nausea for 3 days and ate mostly easy foods, rice, applesauce, homemade smoothies. Very limited on solid foods. I could not reach far or lift my arms up. Cannot pull or push doors. The pain meds constipate me and made me very itchy. So I was switched to a different pain med.

3-7 days I was able to reach and lift but still needed assistance. I am very tight because he pulled a lot of skin into my breast. I left my house on day 4 but still on pain meds and nauseous. Still sleeping on my couch with my husband pillow. Day 6 I slept in my bed with my back flat and I couldn’t sleep. Pain is still present but it’s mild consistent pain. It’s annoying and it’s continuous. Day 7 I sleep in my bed but my husband pillow was needed with the support of a smaller pillow. I went to Target and within 10 mins I was in pain. So I’ve decided to not leave until I am 14 days post op.
