3 weeks post op

I’m 3 weeks post op. Last week was my last appointment for 4 weeks. They removed the tape, and I was told to moisturize with something simple for a week, then I could start scar treatment. I was also cleared to workout! Probably the best feeling ever. Dr Giles told me to ease back into my normal routine, and if it doesn’t feel good, don’t do it. I’ve been every day since then :) I am definitely taking it much easier then I normally do, but it’s so go to be able to sweat again!

The past week, my implants have just felt weird, like they are just sitting on my chest. I feel like my chest muscles are really tight, and they need to open up to let the implants relax. That is the only way I can describe it. My right is more annoying then my left (it is my dominant side). But all in all, I’m feeling great, and super happy with the results!

8 days post op!

The weekend was up and down. I had a horrible stomachache one day, not sure if it was food related or from the antibiotic. (And I did take a probiotic as well). I’m still just using ibuprofen 3 times a day, mostly for the swelling, not because I’m in any pain.
I went to an appointment today and Shelly took out all of my stitches. Stung a tiny bit because apparently there were some that were more like staples, but it was about a 2/10 on a pain scale. She taped me back up and said not to worry if it falls off, we can start scar therapy next week. Dr Giles said I’m looking great, he was pleased my recovery has been so easy. Still not allowed to do anything that will get my heart rate or blood pressure up, as it will cause bleeding. I’m definitely listening as I want to heal good and be fit for duty when I go back to work. The staff as always was wonderful, can’t say enough good things about everyone in the office!!

Day 4 & 5

Days 4 and 5 were like night and day. Day 4 I felt great. My boyfriend’s parents picked me up for lunch and we went to the Olive Garden for about an hour and a half. Later that day when my boyfriend got home, we went to Walmart and walked around a long time without me feeling tired. I keep going back to Walmart because I’m having difficulty finding the right post surgery bras to wear. I’m so used to being so small and everything I buy is too tight! This was also the last day I took any pain pills so that may have had something to do with me feeling so good.

Saturday, I wanted to stop the pain pills and only use Advil. I wasn’t in pain at all, but I was completely wiped out and just didn’t feel like doing much of anything. I didn’t even want to read or watch TV. I was in and out of sleep a lot. Oh and this morning I work up with “morning boob” My breasts were SUPER painful until I started moving a bit. But hey, the day is over, I’m not in pain, and I’m grateful for my gorgeous new breasts. I’m actually so surprised they look so full and nice so fast. I’ll post a few pictures from Saturday morning.

Oh and I finally went to the bathroom Saturday and unfortunately the post surgery bloat is so real and still here. I’m hoping in a few weeks my stomach looks back to normal!
