Lift+enhancement. 32 Y/o Mum 3 Weeks Pre-op

WORTH IT$10,200
Eh... so I’ve decided to do this. I’m 5”11’ and 130 lbs, my boobs look like pita bread after breast feeding and I just feel like a part of my body — a part I used to love — has died. I’ve wanted to do this for a while and finally the planets have aligned to allow this.
I’m going to get a lift with an enhancement of around 400CC Polytech implants (we haven’t decided the final implant yet, may be textured or furry, anatomical or round). I want to go as big as will be safe.
Took me ages to choose a surgeon here in Milan, but I went with someone very capable, Dr. Spano. The thing I’m a little nervous about is that he wants to go under muscle. I have quite a lot of breast tissue (my current bra size is 28F) but the Dr. says I need a lot more in my upper pole to go sub-gland. Other than that?
I can’t wait!
Not afraid of the scars, or the operation itself. A little worried about the pain. My partner is 100% on board with me.
Let’s see how this goes!

Asthma medicine

JustNotVelcro
So, I’m less than two weeks from the intervention, I really can’t wait...It’s kind of funny I’m feeling so much anticipation towards the fact that in 13 days I’m going to get cut open. While I’m not looking forward to the pain, I have full confidence that this is what I want to do.

Anyway, this update is about asthma medicine. I suffer from asthma and it was manageable for most of my life but lately it has gotten out of control and I’ve been bouncing from medication to medication and my pneumologist is not happy. So yesterday he decided to get me on leukotrirne inhibitors, namely Montelukast. I just read that this very same medicine is used as a treatment against capsular contracture. Sounds nice and all, but I’m not sure if I should start this treatment 13 days before an operation. I’ve tried asking my ps, but still no reply. He’s always operating and I might have to wait for my pre-op visit to get an answer.

I can wait. While I have an insistent tightness in my chest every evening, it’s not something new. My asthma isn’t anywhere near a dangerous level, it’s just uncomfortable and gives me dark circles under my eyes. I AM worried that I won’t be able to take my inhalers in the first few days post-op, but there’s always the inhalation machine thingy and maybe then I’ll also be able to take the Montelukast.

So had all my tests done and I’m feeling very pleased with myself like I scored high in my report card. As it turns out, you can both have a pesky chronic disease and be very healthy. Tomorrow is my pre-op check-up and I’ll let you know how that goes.
I thought I’d document here how dire the situation is with these flaps of skin on my chest.

Hey there, very excited for you. I have a question: Were you required to get a mammogram before the surgery? I have heard and been told by a PS in the past that I would have to have one before any type of breast surgery and, being only 30, that makes me very uneasy.

Hi! No, I wasn’t required to do a mammogram because I’m under 40. However, every country/surgeon goes by different guidelines/protocol. Mammograms aren’t dangerous, though, so you needn’t be worried to do one if that’s what’s required of you.
