Looking fantastic! The shape is beautiful! Just curious are you doing any kind of scar therapy? :-)

Have been doing silicone sheeting and a scar gel. Any recommendations?

I think the best scar therapy really depends on number of factors (i.e. lifestyle, location of the scar and tolerance to the product). That aside I’m a big believer in scar sheeting or tape for breast lift scars as opposed to gels are creams . Some believe the pressure from sheets/tape will also help keep the scar flat. Just curious are you using the sheeting and gel in two different places? If combined the gel may prevent the sheeting from totally adhering to the skin. The only time I use gel is when it’s not practical to use sheeting. The sheeting alone provides a protective a protective barrier holding moisture underneath. Some also believe the better the tape adheres to the skin the less likely the scar will stretch. That’s also been my experience comparing my Embrace strips (which stick on like superglue) to other types of sheeting that did not stick on so well. I actually under went to scar revision about six months ago. I also have a review on the Embrace treatment board. Even if you’re not using Embrace you may find some of the tips in my first update helpful. Wishing you the very best! :-)

Thanks! I haven’t been using them together. I switch off between the two using the strips for days until they start to fall off. I’ll look into the Embrace strips and read your review

Looking good! I only been using cocoa butter & bio-oil my scars. I had a BL/BA on 7/24/17, u can read my journey sometime. Have you went to get sized? Are you happy with your final results? I think they look very nice and fit your shape perfectly! Happy healing dear, enjoy your holidays! ;-)

I like the strips because you can set them and forget them so to speak. before my surgery date I Jd been sized twice in office and playing around wit rice sizers at home. I almost didn’t get an implant and was just going to get a lift but I wanted the extra “perk”. I love my results so far. I don’t think much will change at this point. the scars are hard to look at sometimes but it’s nothing to have. such a wonderful change. Happy Holidays to you too!

You will find though overtime the scars will fade. I am about 5 months PO and my scars are lightening up each day. I wasn’t really focused much on the scars but I found hearing so many people focusing so much on scar therapy and so forth it made me think about it a little bit more frequently. So I tried Scar Away and thought it was working at first but realized I was taking them off incorrectly. A dear friend on here told me to take them off with soap & water in the shower and I found that helped tremendously. But my skin is a bit sensitive and found that they were making my scars angrier so I just stopped using the silicone sheets. There are many different products out there you can try and you can find what works best for you. In January I see my PS for my 6 mth f/u, I am going to ask him about the biocorneum. Happy healing dear ;-)

Hi!! Thanks for following up! They look perfect on you:-) now they are perky!! Yours will soften noticeably and drop within a few weeks. Mine was still pretty high 4-5ish weeks and suddenly they were soft ! And they are saline Ideal... so I could imagine silicone would be much more natural

Wound healing

Anyone have any tips. I feel like it needs some air but shouldn’t be out of a bra?

Hi, have you asked your own PS for any advice on this matter? My own PS recommends keeping wounds/scabs that are not infected moist with a non-antibiotic ointment (ie Aquaphor) and covered with nonstick dressings that won’t pull on the scab. Not all PS agree with this. However if you Google the words “wounds moist or dry” you’ll see current wound care experts advise keeping wounds moist (but not wet) and covered for quicker healing and less scarring. This is opposed of the olden days when they used to believe that open air and oxygen was good for healing. I had a wound in my t-zone and it healed very well being kept moist and covered. In fact it’s now believe by many that allowing a scab to get hard can cause additional scarring. Good luck and please keep us posted.

Yes, moist and covered is the deal. They are almost completely healed now. A weeks time can result in an amazing change

They look AMAZING! I am also a small gal - 5'1" and 120lbs. Need a lift and plan on 175cc under the muscle in April. I am also a 32D and would love to stay in that size but fill the top out a bit more. I keep debating the implant - do you like it?

Yep love them. Just perfect with a small implant to perk them up just a bit more than what I had before
