How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Honest Review of My Experience with Dr. Izadpanah
Honest Review of My Experience with Dr. Izadpanah
I underwent a breast lift and implant replacement with Dr. Izadpanah, expecting a professional and satisfactory outcome based on our pre-surgical discussions. Unfortunately, my experience has been highly disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my honest review to help others make an informed decision.
1. Poor Surgical Outcome – Left with Hanging Skin
During my consultation, I clearly stated that I wanted a slightly larger implant than my previous ones and a properly executed breast lift. Post-surgery, I was left with significant hanging skin, an issue that was apparent immediately. When I voiced my concerns, I was repeatedly told to “wait for the implants to settle”—but given the extent of the issue, it was evident from the beginning that this was not a matter of settling, but a flawed execution of the procedure. 2. Lack of Proper Aftercare & Guidance
Following the surgery, I had concerns and reached out for post-op guidance. Instead of receiving clear medical instructions, I was simply told to “refer to the packaging” of a breast wrap with no further explanation on how to use it correctly. Basic post-operative care should not be left to guesswork. I was left without proper medical guidance during a critical healing period.
3. Contradictory Liposuction Suggestion
As I continued to express concerns, Dr. Izadpanah later suggested that liposuction might improve my results. This raised a serious question:
• If the lift had been done correctly, why would liposuction be necessary at all?
Seeking a second opinion from another surgeon, I was informed that liposuction would not have corrected the issue—confirming that the true problem was the surgical technique, not my body composition.
4. Dismissive Attitude & Avoiding Accountability
When I addressed these concerns with him directly, instead of acknowledging the issues, he became dismissive and unwilling to take accountability. He instructed me to stop emailing him and limited communication to in-person visits, effectively shutting down any meaningful dialogue regarding my results. A surgeon should be willing to engage with their patient, especially when there are valid concerns about an unsatisfactory outcome.
5. The Need for a Costly Revision Surgery
Due to these surgical issues, I have now had to schedule a revision surgery with another surgeon at my own expense. This revision will involve a larger scar and additional recovery time—a situation that could have been avoided if the original procedure had been performed correctly. (Photos attached to show the poor surgical outcome.)
Final Thoughts: Proceed with Caution
I wish I had paid closer attention to the other negative reviews before choosing Dr. Izadpanah. If you are considering surgery with him, I strongly urge you to do extensive research, consult multiple surgeons, and ensure that all expectations are crystal clear before proceeding.
This review is intended to provide an honest account of my experience so that others can make an informed decision.
