What a Hard Act to Follow....

I had gastric bypass surgery in 2012. I lost over 200 pounds and had quite a bit of extra skin in several places. In particular, my breasts, had been very large since I was young and have always been a cause of poor self esteem. I decided to check into breast surgery and mentioned it to one of my friends. She had actually been researching plastic surgeons and suggested Dr. Capizzi in Charlotte, NC. I lived a little over three hours from his office, so I was a little apprehensive. I began to visit his website and started looking at photos of his work and decided to just call the office and see what I could do about a consultation. I thought I’ll just see how the office staff is by making that phone call. They were amazingly friendly! I honestly had never dealt with any medical office personnel who from the first phone call was so welcoming! They really made me feel like they wanted me to come see them. I talked with my husband and decided we would just go to the consultation and see what they had to say, then we could make a decision. The office was warm and welcoming and the staff were just as friendly in person as they were on the phone. I scheduled my surgery that day because I was so sure about Dr. Capizzi’s abilities to do what was best for me and fix the “extra skin issue” I had with such saggy breasts. His attention to details I never would have even thought about as a medical professional myself, was impressive. He explained the procedure and examined me in such a delicate way to ensure I was comfortable. I have not been disappointed!! My surgery was February 20th so I’m still recovering and healing but I’m completely satisfied with my results because no matter how they turn out after all he healing is complete, I feel so much better about myself, that makes it all worth it!!

I can't really just pinpoint one person, but Julie, I believe in patient accounts (we paid her the downpayment for the procedure). She was so very nice and informative for the amount of questions we had. She took the time to explain everything and was so compassionate.
Grace was also wonderful. She is so very kind and caring of not only me, but my husband's questions as well.
Everyone there is just superb!! Anesthesia, the nurses in the OR, I barely got to see (LOL), the nurse doing pre-op. Picture takers were so kind. I just can't say enough good about the entire place.
Dr. Capizzi, man! He is just so kind and will answer any questions you have. I believe the thing that impressed me most, was that he called me personally on the phone to check on me before my surgery to see if there were any questions I might have. Wow!! What physician does that?!? Impressive to say the least!!!
