Great Experience with Dr. Beck and His Team

I'd highly recommend Dr. Beck and his team. I had several initial consultations with other surgeons before choosing Dr. Beck, and I ultimately chose him because of his practice’s level of organization and his patience and honesty with answering my questions.
Dr. Beck does a good job of managing expectations and using his experience to be consultative. I liked that he had opinions on implant size and brands that he thought would suit me based on his experiences. When I asked him tough questions about scarring, breastfeeding in the future, or my personal risks given a family history of breast cancer, he provided very candid answers and made sure I was comfortable and informed. Once he had an impromptu call with me just to listen to my concerns about my grandmother's breast cancer and explained the risks associated with my scenario. I appreciated that honesty most about Dr. Beck. Many other surgeons gave vague responses or underplayed potential risks in the interest of persuading me to move forward with the surgery. Since breast augmentation is elective, it felt like there was sometimes an element of salesmanship from some other surgeons. I always had the sense that Dr. Beck cared about the longer term implications of the surgery and wanted to make sure that I'd be satisfied afterwards.
Additionally, his practice is well-managed and his staff is very knowledgeable. It was much appreciated that they provided quick answers to questions (ex: they were always available to explain pre-op and recovery processes, they helped me pick surgical bras and explained my new bra sizing). Since there's a lot of coordination involved and many small questions that pop up, it's very important that the surgeon's office staff is top-notch and responsive. During the surgery, his operating room staff was also very kind - one of the nurses held my hand when I was nervous before the anesthesia.
