Extremely Unprofessional and Horrible
If I could give 0 star I would. I went to my consultation and was asked to pay the $200 - $250 fee before seeing the doctor. The young man was very nice. I went upstairs and waited a few minutes to be called and a young lady came and got me but I could feel right away she wasn't in the mood to talk but I said hi anyway. She took all my info, took photos, measurements. When she asked me about the size of implants I'd like to get I told her between 700cc's - 800cc's, omg, she gave me the nastiest look and said "Are you serious" I was all confused because when I called to make the appointment, I specifically told the person on the phone that I need a surgeon who does large implants and her words to me were "Dr. Armori can go as big as you want" at the consultation now I'm being shamed for preferring large implants? For reference, I'm 5'9 and had 475cc's at the time of consultation.
She told me to wait a few minutes for Dr. Armori. About 30 minutes later, the clinic manager came in and said Dr. Armori had to leave for an appointment and asked if I wanted to see someone else or if not I'd need to wait another 30 minutes until Dr. Armori came back I said I'd wait. 30 minutes went by nobody came in the room so I saw the young lady and I asked her how much longer and she sent the clinic manager again she said the doctor was running late so at that point I was getting frustrated and asked why wasn't I told that when I came in? I called my friend who was waiting for me at the parking lot and he said Dr. Armori was on the phone downstairs. Whattttttt? I was shocked and realised the reason they asked me to pay for the consultation as soon as I got there is because they knew Dr. Armori wasn't available and I'd have to see someone else because there was no way they'd give me my money back.
The other surgeon came in and was nice, and spent time answering all my questions. But when I was about to leave, she asked me to wait a few minutes in the room. After 20 minutes I was getting really annoyed not knowing what was going on so I tried to leave and she saw me and asked me AGAIN to go back in the room and wait a few more minutes which I did. About 15 minutes later, she came in and said she talked to Dr. Armori about my surgery but I didn't care anymore I just wanted to go home. And just when I was about to leave, the front desk guy said the clinic manager is looking for me and I had to go back upstairs to see what she wanted. She was busy so she said to wait for her a few minutes to give me the quote but I told her to email it to me because I couldn't stay. It's been months and of course, she never emailed me the quote (not that expected it anyway).
I felt so disrespected that I was treated so badly and I truly believe you were there but you felt I wasn't worth your time because I'm a woman of colour?
