My experience with a BA/BL and liposuction with Dr. Spring at Mountain West Plastic Surgery.

I underwent a breast lift with implants, as well as sub-mental and axillary liposuction performed by Dr. Spring in February 2024. I am now 3 months post-op. Being a big fan of reading reviews, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to contribute my thoughts and experience for the collective cause of informed decision-making.

I highly recommend Mountain West Plastic Surgery for providing an exceptional experience and delivering excellent results. Dr. Spring listened attentively and delivered precisely what I had requested—a natural result that would not disrupt my active lifestyle, which includes powerlifting/CrossFit-type workouts. I initially had concerns about undergoing an elective cosmetic surgery and managing the subsequent recovery while looking after my young family. However, I was well-prepared and well-informed about the surgery and the recovery process. Dr. Spring's office provides a folder containing all the necessary information, making it easy to keep track of and to refer to later on. In addition to the information available on their website, including informative videos by Dr. Spring, there is also a ton of information on RealSelf. I strongly recommend obtaining information regarding this type of procedure solely from RealSelf. Early in my journey, I’d joined a BA support group on social media and the only thing it did for me was give me a lot of doubt that led to a lot of wasted energy and anxiety. It became apparent early on in my search for a surgeon, that they all practice a little differently, and it was incredibly helpful to utilize this particular platform to select a handful of surgeons in the region, before I even scheduled a consult. Within 5 minutes of meeting Dr. Spring, I knew she was the one!

I worried endlessly about whether I would be able to safely lift my kids during recovery, if I’d do pull-ups again, if the scars from the breast lift would be too unsightly, or if I’d end up getting too small of an implant. Dr. Spring and her clinic nurse were kind and patient when answering my questions and when providing reassurance. On the day of the surgery, I was extremely anxious. In my recent past, I cared for a family member who underwent very high-risk surgeries and being back in that setting (although very different) was a bit unsettling for me. Also, it’s scary to have an elective procedure! It’s a big deal to be vulnerable with private health information and being able to be candid and open about deeply-rooted insecurities. However, I never felt unsafe or judged. I really liked Dr. Spring’s pre-op/post-op nurse, her 1st assist/PA and the anesthesia provider. They were all very easy-going, professional and appeared to be very knowledgeable and highly competent. The front office staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

My post-op pain was as expected and well-controlled. My recovery was complication-free and although I didn’t need to reach out often, when I did, I’d hear back within a few hours.
I’m back to crushing pull-ups, my lift scars already look great and have surpassed expectations and Dr. Spring was spot on with getting the correct size implant. To put it plainly, my breasts/sites I had lipo already look freakin’ awesome and as Dr. Spring explained, it’ll be a little longer until I have an end result. Overall I had a ton of fun throughout the process; it was very exciting to do something for me. Thank you to Dr. Spring and her team for a great experience!
