Saline or Silicone? Implants with Lift or After?

Ok ladies, I'm in search of trying to figure out the best way to get my dream boobs.
I used to have 32 DD but had 2 kids and just after 1 the girls deflated. I had boobs since I was 13 so I always wanted a lift but now I need to fill em up too.
So, I've had a few consults and looked at a bunch of reviews and pictures but I'm still not sure the way to go.
Surest way would be a lift, heal, then implants. But that's a lot of down time and money.
So in order to go the size I want, and prevent 2 surgeries, I'm thinking about doing saline implants. Having the implant inserted during the lift but not filled with saline until after the lift has healed... might not be an option but I'm going to research into it.
I would love to know your thoughts. Any women have saline instead of silicone? Why choose the silicone over saline? I'm not looking for natural boobs, I had those, I want the perky no bra look.
Thanks for the advice! I'll keep updating.

Hey there! So I'm no Dr. but I'm about 99% sure you can't do the lift without doing the implants at the same time to avoid 2 surgeries. The saline implant is an empty bag and if you go under the muscle even if they could fill it later, it would involve 2 surgeries. As far as type, I would go with silicone. It feels and looks much more natural IMO. I have 2 family members with saline and they don't feel as soft as mine. They both look great. Depends on your preference though!

Doing the procedure in 2 separate surgeries would do definitely increase the price and the risks. Every time you have surgery there are risks of infection and reaction to anesthesia. You would also increase the overall price by at least $1000 since you would have to pay for anesthesia, surgery center, and physician’s twice. You may also limit the size of the implant you can get by doing it in two steps, they remove and tighten all loose skin during a lift. Not to mention scarring. A full lift (lollipop or anchor) leaves scars. Depending on how they inserted the implants during the second procedure it may exacerbate the existing scars left from the lift.

It was actually recommended by all the PS I've seen to do it separately to reduce risks of revision. I have seen a lot of girls on here who have had problems with the incisions splitting and pretty bad infections at the site.
The bigger you put in while you're healing the more chance that will happen because of the weight on the incisions.
I would love to just go implants without having a lift but I've seen a few girls who've done that who started out with similar boobs and they don't end with the result I'm looking for. They aren't round they are more cone like.

We basically have the same dream boobs. I won't be getting them because my anatomy just won't let me :( sad. But from what I gather, silicone feels more natural and squishy. I personally don't want them squishy. I would prefer a faker feel, so I'd like Saline (overfilled). However. I've also read that for maximum upper pole fullness (which I also want lol) then silicone is the best choice bc it holds its shape better especially over time. So that alone is a toss up. If I were you, I'd do both at the same time. If you feel like your implants are too small or just not exactly what you want after a year of healing, then go back and tweak them with a larger size, different profile etc. :) my doctor will only let me get 350 ccs right now because that's all he can fit with the lift :( but he said after I heal I could definitely go back and get bigger ones bc the implants will stretch them out a bit. Hope this helps a little. I understand how you feel!

34 Y/o Mom of 2 with Deflated DD's. Breast Lift 1st, Implants 2nd

I have wanted a lift since I was in the 7th grade when a year after I went from a B to a DD they were already starting to sag. I hated my large areola's too but never knew those would also be altered during a lift.

After having kids I lost weight, not much but about 10-15lbs. My normal before was 135 and after each went down to between 120 and 125. This also took all the fat out of my boobs which left empty bags of skin. Last year, I was done having kids and done breast feeding, so I started looking into getting implants. My thought was that if I got big enough implants they would fill out the sag in my boobs. Just like when my milk came in and lifted those suckers nice and perky. Come to find out I was not able to do what I wanted without a lift. So I decided to do both. I did a ton of research and had 4 consults to eventuality decided it was best to do the surgeries in separate steps. I also knew that if I was getting work done, I was going to get work done. Meaning, I don't want them looking "real". I'm getting fake boobs and I want them to be as perfect to what I want them to be lol. At this point I have picked my surgeon which I will update his info as soon as the procedure is complete. I will keep this thread updated as much as possible. This site has been the most helpful in my decision which is why I felt I needed to share mine as well.

Just curious why you had to get 2 separate surgeries?

The surgeon said because of how large my areola were they had to make the lift super tight. It would have created too much pressure on the wounds and would have likely caused issues.
I had other surgeons say they would do at the same time, but after looking at many people in here that got both at the same time and the way their incisions split a lot of times I decided to do it separately anyway.
I did a ton of research and decided a little extra to have it done separately was worth it.

Can u tell me w,hy it doesn't work like that if you put a big implant on then they will become perky without a lift? It happened to me with milk too lol

I got my pre op and post op healing package. I was supposed to start it at 2 weeks before surgery but I didn't realize that. At least I'll be starting it 5 days before. Getting excited and nervous but mostly excited. My surgeon is really great and I now know someone in my area who has used him. Nothing but good vibes!
